BoltStream works quietly in the background while you browse. When it finds a video or audio file on any page, it shows up in the popup with format, resolution, and file size — no need to copy-paste URLs or figure out where the video is hosted.

HLS / M3U8 Download
Downloads streaming video and converts it into a single MP4 file you can watch anywhere. When multiple quality options are available, you choose the resolution you want.

Video Download
Downloads standard video files (MP4, WebM, etc.) with multi-threaded downloading for faster speeds.

Record Mode
Some streaming sites don't offer a direct download link. Record Mode captures the video as it plays, and stops automatically when it ends. Just hit play and let BoltStream handle the rest.

Large File Support
Downloads are saved using smart temporary storage, so even very large video files won't crash your browser or eat up your memory. When the download finishes, your browser's standard Save dialog appears.

Pause, Resume & Partial Save
Pause and resume downloads at any time. You can also save what you have so far if you don't need the full video.

Works With Protected Sources
Some sites block downloads from outside their player. BoltStream handles this automatically so you don't have to worry about it.

HOW TO USE

1. Install the extension
2. Visit any page with video content
3. Click the BoltStream icon — detected media appears in the popup
4. Click Download to save the video
5. For streams that don't show a download option, use Record Mode

LIMITATIONS

- YouTube is not supported (Chrome Web Store policy)
