This extension 'snips' text from pages you visit (or you can create them manually) and saves them in your browser, allowing you to quickly insert them into forms and editors. Fully backup compatible with the Clippings extension for Firefox.

- I was able to migrate all my clippings from Firefox and import them here. It works exactly as expected. even has more features. Im sticking to Edge for now till further notice

- Works good for my use case as a helpdesk technician, you can add text snippets and paste them everywhere very easily. The big downside at the moment is I cant use the restore function to export my snippets. It makes a json file but cant make it to add it back on a new browser so im kinda stuck in the place where I first created all my snippets.

- 2023-09-28 - My Snippets dissapeared today and I cannot restore them from any of my backups. It doesn't look like the restore option is working at all (I've created new snips and then attempted to restore them). I think a change in Edge might have broke it as it happened after an Edge update

- nettes Tool. Leider ist es seit dem letzten Update von Edge unbrauchbar. Es öffnet sich nur noch ein schmaler Streifen der Benutzeroberfläche

- Love this add on however the new version of Edge breaks it and causes the window to be extremely thin. please fix this :) Thank you to the guy that posted the temp workaround 😘

- Imported my Clippings notes without a hitch. The only issue is that the menu is showing up without a width specified in the CSS. It's so thin that I cannot see the options and I have to use "Inspect" and manually make the body of the HTML 300px wide to be able to see anything. Maybe it will display better after a restart, but this is what I had to do to use the extension the first time. Update: I restarted, and it still shows a squished menu. : / Also not posting my messages after selection. I'll attempt to uninstall it and reinstall it again.

- not showing templates and not opening app correctly when you try to back it up or recover it. it is damaged and I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it and same error for new Microsoft Edge for Business version: 116.0.1938.54 (Official build) (64-bit

- The extension window is cut off, which makes it unusable.

- The snippet list is empty when I want to paste something. When it wasn't empty it sometimes pasted, and sometimes didn't paste.

- Tried it out and it is exactly what I need, but while adding snippets manually previously added snippets would get erased. If it worked correctly, it would be great.

- Nice plugin, but when it works! The context menu shows empty folders now after and I have to copy manually from the plugin menu. I noticed this happening after a browser update.
