It keeps a user-configurable number of the latest messages visible and removes older ones, which helps to reduce browser memory and CPU usage, leading to a smoother and faster chat experience, especially in long conversations.

- It's not working, unfortunately - I'm on https://aistudio.google.com/app/apps/drive/APP_ID?resourceKey=&showAssistant=true&showCode=true editing an app and when I click on the extension icon the pop-up says "This extension only works on AI Studio Chat pages and Stream page."

- Great extension. There seems to be a bug right now where it doesn't immediately activate when the tab loads. I have to open the extension and turn it off then on again, and then it hides the previous messages.

- Takes long conversations from unusable to functional, thanks so much. Long conversations still eventually increase processing load even with the optimizer hiding the content, is there some overhead to the hidden content?

- Fantastic idea but will not install if you are using the ARC browser, for some reason it only works in Chrome!

- Good Idea!! I like it. Does it remember the context of what we talked about like 35 messages before, if I setted Keep last messages: 3?

- Perfect Solution, 3 messages by default is too conservative I would suggest, given the thinking prompts take one, and your prompt takes one, hence for me setting it to 8 works very well

- With each new message in Google AI Studio, it becomes more and more difficult for Google Chrome (and maybe others) to support DOM rendering. Thanks for such an effective solution with limiting the window of currently viewed messages.
