Eric Newcomb 2013-07-15: Linux users take note --- BSGO's presence in the Chrome store does NOT mean it will work on your Linux machine. It still requires the Unity web player, and Unity still says it will not make a Linux version of the Web Player. And nowhere does Syfy, Google or anyone associated with the game tell you that until AFTER they have your registration info.

jason b 2013-05-19: I have downloaded this game last year. I played for a year. Then all of a sudden it stopped working. I tried to contact support but nothing. I am logged on through this app, so my account exists but I can not log in and just say I need a new password, because it says no record of my account exists. Yet I can not create a an account with my name because someone has it, yeah because I have it.

Joshua Christensen 2012-11-19: I've been playing this game off and on since closed beta. The development team is horrible and introduce new bugs all of the time and rarely think about mechanics they mess around with and how it effects game play. The content has changed very little over the last two years (you could easily say not at all if you don't count the items added that cost real money). The game is two-faction PVP and horribly one sided so it gets boring very quickly. Their development team has extremely high turn-over so you know Big Point doesn't do a very good job with treating their employees well - and the game reflects this; half baked ideas implemented. Little to no support (or even concern for that matter). They've been promising for 2 years a ton of features that aren't tied to actually making a buck but would make the game play more enjoyable. However, it never fails that they only add a new way for you to spend real cash in the game. As many people have mentioned, this game could be hugely popular and it's got the brand following to support it. However BP is only concerned with turning a dollar out of the users and that's about it.
Şencan Günaydın 2012-11-16: Full 3D browser game. Graphics / sounds / gameplay great. I recommend all players who enjoy space combat games. That one is the best for now...
Ray Murphy 2012-11-15: I've just begun, so far interesting. Like most MMO's I suspect that at higher levels a certain amount of bullying will come in. The game so far is smooth with few glitches. You have to figure a lot of things out on your own and the forums are only slightly helpful. Overall a good experience.

Tyler Szabo 2012-09-22: As stated in other reviews I purchased cubits and then was locked out of my account. The transaction processed but I didn't receive the cubits in game. I contacted support, they closed the ticket and indicated my account had been credited. Then I couldn't log in. Password reset failed, so I contacted support, again. After answering some question to support I still haven't heard back after 3 weeks. While I doubt they deleted my account rather than give me my stuff I suspect that I'm suffering from some bug they'd rather just ignore - either way I'm unimpressed.
truquatta shananigan 2012-09-21: bigpointe has turned this into a cash grab and it's impossible to play since they've changed how you switch out ammunition. their customer service is awful and they turn a blind eye to blatant cheating -- players going up 20 levels in one day. the game is outrageously expensive to play. unless you spend ***THOUSANDS*** of dollars you will be nothing more than meat to the credit card thieves of asia and eastern europe. plus, the game is lackluster and repetitive. it's a shame that such a great series has such a terrible video game. this could have been great, but instead, bigpointe turned it into a bland greed fest. forget ever being able to get in touch with bigpointe if you have an issue or if your account is hacked and your money stolen. literally, they don't do a thing.

Control scheme ruined it ... its not arcade-like (freelancer style) nor sim like (EOC et all style) -- its some @#!#!@$ halfbrained 2.5D system. Space combat sim with that type of controls ... NO WAY. No joystick support ... WTF!?!? RCS fail ... its BSG for the ... sake!! Inertial flying was cornerstone of the combat there ... noooo we have *airplanes* with fixed axis in *space* ... epic fail!
