Description from store Twitch Live Twitch TV extension for displaying a user's favorite channels which are currently live. NOTE: Version 2.0.1 is a beta. Please report any issues. Twitch Live is a browser extension for Google Chrome that makes it easy to check which of your favorite Twitch.tv channels are currently live. You can also configure the extension to send you a notification when one of your favorite streams goes online. Extension was developed by Mike Chambers. Design by Ben Griffith. Once the extension has been installed it will place a small monitor / TV icon on the top right of your browser window. NOTE YOU MUST NOW PIN THE EXTENSION IN CHROME IN ORDER TO SEE THE ICON. Open the options tab by right clicking the icon, and selecting options. Once the options tab is open, enter your Twitch.tv user name, and click save. You can then view which of your favorite Twitch.tv streams are online by clicking the Twitch Live icon in the browser window. • (2024-02-04) Lennard “Leks” Leks: I love it
  • (2023-06-14) Kelvin Nguyen: Love the simplicity of this extension, but I REALLY wish the app had an aesthetic that wasn't so barebones. Like maybe some colors and/or a dark mode would help?
  • (2023-05-17) Gonçalo Freitas: So glad this app is back. Simple and to the point.
  • (2023-03-22) ziplock9000: Doesn't work in Edge. The little window is empty
  • (2023-01-13) Vinicius S.: Funciona bem, é simples mas de início meio confuso. O problema é que as vezes para de funcionar. Tipo, nesse momento eu estou buscando alguma alternativa.
  • (2023-01-02) Kayky21: Works as advertised.
  • (2022-11-22) Synaelle: Doesn't work anymore sadly :c White screen
  • (2022-10-31) Abdulrahman Alabdulkareem: WARNING. This extension is a scam and WILL steal your twitch credentials. This has definitely become a scam. It opens a popup login window with no way to verify what page I am in (this is a technique only utilized by scammers to try to trick you). In addition, the twitch redirect link is "iiljidcefnbhbpamageahhblhbbhhopm dot chromiumapp" which is a laughably bad scam attempt. It's a shame since I used to love this app. Hopefully someone creates a replacement app.
  • (2022-10-11) Christopher Martín Soares: Easy to use, clean, light and organized, for me it's just perfect. The only extension that I had installed for over 3 or 4 years and still used it every day, when twitch changed how their API works, the developer updated the extension and to this day, it still works as usual.
  • (2022-09-21) Adrian Thorburn: Thanks for continuing to update this extension. Lots of negative reviews on here complaining(and maybe not understanding) about the login requirement but afaik this is due to twitch changing its api. Like others posted ideally a click to authorize with twitch rather than loggin in would be ideal.
  • (2022-09-11) NoodleLegs J: The log in is kinda sketchy. It use to work really well but now you try to open more than one Stream it makes the tabs crash. It need a dark Mode
  • (2022-08-31) David Liang: This is an excellent, simple extension that seems to be broken due to the new Twitch API updates! Patiently waiting for an update :)
  • (2022-06-12) Leth Sonw: Разлогинился и не войти (не приходит на телефон уведом вообще). Соответственно без логина расширение не работает.
  • (2022-06-03) Alex B: Used to love this extension, then they changed it to require you to log into your twitch account in a sketchy pop up window that does not make it clear whether or not you are on the actual twitch website. Safe to assume they are stealing your twitch login info, considering the extension worked just fine previously with only a username required. Now all the sudden they want my password too? No thanks. There's a reason the developer stopped responding to these reviews. If he changes the extension to the way it was, I will change my review. Until then, I'm reporting it to google and hopefully it will be taken down.
  • (2022-05-31) Creative: The way they make you log in is very suspicious. They're not logging you in in a browser, so you don't know if you're on the twitch domain. They could be stealing your login credentials and sell it later. Chrome should block this addon until they change this.
  • (2022-05-09) Sam Rodrigues: doesn't work anymore
  • (2022-04-01) Александр Соловьев: Upd: Снова работает
  • (2022-03-30) Dracconis69: As much as I loved using "Twitch Now" (which no longer works as of a week or more ago), it did have at least 1 feature that I wish this extension had. Dark Mode capability.
  • (2022-03-30) BimBam Gaming: It working now and it is good
  • (2022-03-27) 7 F: Used this for years, definitely recommend it. Currently, the only issue is that after the API change, you have to log into twitch in the extension (before you just fed it your username). I'd love to see one of the logins where you click a button to authorize with twitch, rather than throwing your creds in some guy's popup window. I trust this extension personally, but if it's possible, that's really just better to have.
  • (2022-03-24) Axel Rosaspini: Does exactly what it says on the tin, minimalistic and functional. Did we lose notifications post-API change fix though? Any way we can get those back?
  • (2022-03-23) Richard W: Works even after twitch changed their side, breaking a lot of apps like this. But it is *very* simple in design
  • (2022-03-18) Medivha (Medivha): I used this addon for a long time and recently twitch changed some stuff and the addon needed an update and it asked me to login in again. And me like ok back in the day me would be ok to just put in blank username and password. But today me is more like... man why is it not using some OAuth token thing like most do these days. its is to unsafe to use that little login window where i cant verify if its a twitch login window or your own or whatever and i have to trust blindly. i hope you understand. and maybe change it to something more safe method(or not unsafe looking variant) in the future. thanks for you extension i used it alot before and have a great day
  • (2022-03-16) General M-13: Works as intended, just wish the list itself had a Dark theme and a bit more flair, it's a bit flat :P
  • (2022-03-16) Daniel Bennett: just what I needed, would like to see a sort by viewer count, though I know you do what to keep it simple
  • (2022-03-14) Vlad Budin (A007): Add please dark theme!
  • (2022-03-13) 88kai: Edit: it is fixed and works well for me Great extension, simple and useful, use it for years HOWEVER, it doesn't work for now, hope the creator note and fix it.
  • (2022-03-12) FaiscaLouca (Kevin Douglas): Muito boa, mas poderia adicionar modo Dark Mode.(Very good, but could add Dark Mode.)
  • (2022-03-11) Jsoldier: Fixed the new api issue and is a dream to use. no stupid clutter, clean, and easy to use
  • (2022-03-10) Σ balls: asks me to log into my twitch account, but if I click the button in the settings menu, nothing happens. Doesn't work for me
  • (2022-03-09) Loïc Simon: Best extension for Twitch notifications, very simple but works well & actively maintained!
  • (2022-03-09) Rasmus: For whatever reason stream names are now listed by displayname instead of account name as it was before the refactor and new API implementation. It becomes a problem when non-latin alphabets are involved. Unless you're fluent in hangul it's suddenly a bit harder to identify which Korean streamer you're following is online. "haena_0714" is a bit easier to identify than "해나" for example.
  • (2022-03-09) Iker Zamora: I use it everyday. It's simple and it works like a charm. Recently it had some issues due to Twitch updating their API which made this extension unusable. But the developer quickly fixed it in a few days. Thank you so much Mike!
  • (2022-03-08) Deivis Sarla: Been using this for years. Appreciate the lack of clutter!
  • (2022-03-08) Fabian Hafner: Lightweight extension that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Perfect.
  • (2022-03-08) TKM2600: Used it for years. Glad the dev fixes issues when Twitch breaks it. 4/5 because I would like to see: - [Important] Dark mode option - [Nice to have] Option to set the link for clicking "Twitch live" at the top - [Nice to have] Favorites: Maybe have a clickable star next to each streamer in the list that filters them to a new "favorites" section at the top. Saved locally so we only have to favorite each streamer once. I'd even settle for a list in
  • (2022-03-08) Filip Poslušný: I was looking for replacement when twitch now stopped working. Thanks works good
  • (2022-03-08) MaskLuigi: Update 03-07-22: Amazing to see this app continue to be updated even after the recent Twitch changes! Easy 5/5, gets the job done with no problems!
  • (2022-03-08) Carson Tatum: Used this for years, and never had any issues with it. Does exactly what I want it to do and I love it. Unfortunately, like others have said, it has stopped working recently. Please update and fix! This is my favourite extension, and I don't want to have to switch to another. (I've tried others, and don't like them). EDIT: The wonderful developer has fixed the issue! I've changed this to 5* and hope to use it for years to come. Thank you for making such a great extension!
  • (2022-03-07) Ryan Franco: I enjoy it, but earlier this week, it stopped working. Streamers are live, but the extension shows nobody. Edit: It's working now, although in order to update it, I had to remove it and redownload it.
  • (2022-03-07) Axiome: Dev corrected fastly the issue, thank you ! Best extension for twitch live notifications btw
  • (2022-03-07) Nathan Miramonti: Thanks for still maintaining this extension, I've used it for a decade now and love the simplicity.
  • (2022-03-07) Allen Kowal: EDIT: Dev fixed the issues quickly, and it works again. There's nothing complex about this app at all, it does exactly what it says it does. 5/5. Broke the entire time twitch was updating their API, but I can't hold that against the developer. Updated today, and no matter what I do, l the extension still doesn't work and doesn't let me fully authenticate.I click authorize, I get a white page saying i'm about to leave twitch, I hit continue... and nothing. App still doesn't work. Don't Know if a broken update got pushed, but it is not functioning correctly. Will change my rating if it gets updated today again.
  • (2022-03-07) Erhan: still not working for me cant login
  • (2022-03-07) Jordan Smith: No longer works since Twitch shut down the Kraken API.
  • (2022-03-07) Panamahattu: Stopped working please fix :)
  • (2022-03-06) Kuroi Taiyo: Very simple. Not working at the moment, but I'll have faith an update is coming since the firefox version was updated yesterday
  • (2022-03-06) Juan Ferreira: ENG: Suddenly it stopped working. It was perfect and now it doesn't show the live streams anymore. ESP: De repente dejo de funcionar. Era perfecta y ahora ya no muestra los streams en vivo.
  • (2022-03-06) Eivind Buodd: Not working.
  • (2022-03-06) Adam Kroupa: Great addon but doesn't work right now. Probably something changed in the API.
