Ghostscript is an open-source software that's used in this project. GhostScript is a program that interprets portable document formats (PDF) and postscript (PS). The nativeMessaging (https://developer.chrome.com/apps/nativeMessaging) add-on talks to the Ghostscript client on your computer using Native Messaging (https://developer.chrome.com/apps/nativeMessaging). Before you can use this add-on, you must first install Ghostscript on your PC. In order to create the connection between Ghostscript and your browser, you'll also need the native client patch.
Please visit this page (https://worldaddons.com/native-client/) and download the required fix for your computer. Install the patch as instructed in the page above in your system. The "PDF Convert – Merge – Resize" plugin on your browser can communicate with the Ghostscript client on your machine (Window, Linux, or Mac) after installation.
