Backseat Buddy (Alpha)

Ever wonder what items your favorite streamer is building, but too lazy to Google? Backseat Buddy is here to help!

Backseat Buddy is a companion extension for viewers that instantly identifies in-game items directly from the video player, be it a stream or a simple video. Currently supporting Deadlock, this tool allows you to analyze and identify items on the screen with a simple click.

Key Features:
Instant Item Identification: Simply hold Alt + Click on an item in the stream to instantly pull up its details and stats.
Seamless Integration: Works directly over the stream video player—no need to switch tabs or search wikis.
Side Panel UI: Keeps your stream viewing experience clean by displaying all item analysis results neatly in the Chrome side panel.
How to Use:

Open the Backseat Buddy side panel.
While watching a stream/video, hold Alt and Click on an item icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Read the item details and stats in the side panel!
Tips for Best Results (Alpha Version):

Bottom Left Items Only: Currently, the extension is optimized for items located in the bottom left corner of the stream.
Aim for the Center: Try to click as close to the center of the item icon as possible for accurate identification.
Quality Matters: The higher the stream video quality, the better and faster the results.
