- (2025-07-28) Paul Birkhead: The extension serves its purpose. I can accomplish what I need to, and the interface is simple and easy to understand. The extension would benefit greatly by having keyboard short cuts for the various tools and operations. I toggle a lot between the rectangle, interact with website, clear annotations, and hide controls when creating instructional videos. Each time I have to display the controls menu, make my selections, and then hide the menu. It more than doubles the length of my recordings, and all the segments with the control panel visible have to be edited out. Keyboard short cuts would eliminate this. Or, if the control panel could be excluded from the screen recording, that would be a helpful alternative. I'd give this extension five stars if it weren't for the need to manage around the visiblity of the control panel.
