Usage Instructions
1. Installation & Setup
Install ScreenStitcher from the Chrome Web Store.
Pin the extension to your Chrome toolbar for easy access.
2. Capturing Screenshots
Click the ScreenStitcher icon to open the popup.
To capture the current view: Click “📸 Capture.”
To capture the full page: Enable “Full Page Screenshot” and click “📸 Capture.”
To accumulate multiple screenshots: Enable “Accumulate Mode” and capture as many as you like.
3. Adding Metadata and Uploads
Enable “Custom Title & Description” to show input fields.
Set a page number, title, and description as desired (auto-increment works, but you can override).
Enable “Upload from Local” to show the upload area. Drag and drop or click to add images from your computer.
4. Managing Screenshots
Click any thumbnail in the preview section to see a full-size preview, metadata, and delete option.
Remove individual screenshots or click “Clear All” to reset.
5. Exporting as PDF
To export a single screenshot: Click “📄 Current Page.”
To export all accumulated screenshots: Click “📁 Download.”
The PDF will include all titles, URLs, timestamps, and descriptions, formatted for clarity.
6. Additional Tips
All toggles and settings are saved between sessions.
The extension automatically handles sticky/fixed elements for clean full-page captures.
For best results, close browser DevTools before capturing.
