For ease of use, I backup the chats once as markdown text and once as a PDF (very pretty view). These are saved to a dedicated local Google Drive folder that stays updated automatically. This setup might help if you are backing up enterprise level data like I am.

- (2025-08-07) Allen Strand: I tried exporting/printing a ChatGPT conversation without success. The ChatBOT suggested this plugin and it worked flawlessly on my large Chat. I used the 'Export as Markdown' since that retains formatting and it makes it a tad smaller. You can also select the portions of the chat that you want to save albeit I didn't try that.
