HOW IT WORKS
1. Install Tab Group Manager and pin it to your toolbar.
2. Create tab groups in Chrome as you normally would.
3. Click the extension icon and save any open group with one click.
4. When you need a group back, open the extension and hit Restore — all tabs reopen in their original group with the correct color and name.
5. Use Export to back up your groups or move them to another device.

- Because it is privacy focused and local only, there is no automatic cloud sync. If you work across a laptop and a desktop, you’ll have to manually export and import your groups via JSON files, which can feel a bit old school.Use the Search & Filter tool as your primary navigation. Once you have more than five or six saved groups, it is much faster to type Client A than it is to scroll through a long list in the side panel.

- I did have a small issue where it didnt save my groups color once, but it work fine after I refreshed. the interface is very simple and easy to use though it could look a bit more modern honestly. it is very lightweight and dont slow down my computer at all like some other tools. overall i am very happy because it save me so much time reorganizing my work every morning and I highly recommend it to anyone who use tab groups a lot.
