- A paid subscriber here, using Zoogvpn in Russia. On Jan 23rd Zoogvpn browser extention stopped working for me. According to other reviews by Russian speaking users, the extention is working fine for some, while it's not for others. As far as I'm concerned, there're 2 explanations for that: 1) Some of those reviews may be by Russian speaking users from the post-Soviet republics; that is, places unaffected by VPN service blocking in the recent years. 2) While the browser extention stopped working for me, my iPhone Zoogvpn app is still working fine. So, I'm thinking that the problem may be related to Zoogvpn being blocked either on regional or local Internet provider level. I make this conclusion based on the fact that my home Internet service provider is different from my phone service provider. Anyway, I hope the Zoogvpn team looks into this issue and finds a solution by, I don't know.... using different routing, servers, and methods to fix the browser extention connection problem. Overall, this is an excellent service, and I've been using it for 2+ years, but now I'm forced to look for an alternative.

- Yesterday, before the 2.0.5 update, everything worked fine, and now with 2.0.5 I can't connect to a single VPN server. Luckily, I had an older (2.0.3) version of the extension in CRX format. So, I removed the new (2.0.5) version from the browser, and then dropped the 2.0.3 CRx file into the browser. So, one way or another, looks like we're back in business. Obviously, the problem has something to do with the new version of the extension itself. Just a heads-up for developers and users. This has been my experience using ZoogVPN from Russia. Well, this recent problem aside, the amazing thing is that while ZoogVPn has officially been banned here for some while now, making connecting to Zoog's site, and thus accessing your account without any vpn service in general impossible, if you happen to have the extension itself already installed and your account is in good standing, Zoog has worked flawlessly without a fail regardless of the official ban. A special thanks for the numerous Socks5 servers that their regular subscription comes with. That's a huge plus in my case.
