• (2025-07-01) Riaz Ali: update: although it still shows the error, I think if you right-click on a YouTube video page, then select this addon's 'Summarize this content' menu option, it does a better job at summarizing than other methods... however, it's still nowhere as detailed as using 'Perplexity - AI Companion' addon and its 'Summarize' button original: "this was a 5-star app, but lately on YouTube videos it always says "Subtitles cannot be found or accessed, the summary may not be accurate." So, then it's unable to analyze the transcript or content and unable to answer any follow-up questions"

One suggestion I have is to make it so that it doesn't resummarize a page if you close the sidebar and reopen it and just retain the summary that it generated (maybe this is a specific browser issue, don't know, I'm using Brave). I have zero complaints, great job!

This is a very minimual assistant but also very useful too. it doesnt really do much other than summmerize page but it still an easy five star because its free and sooo useful
