Audacity es un editor de audio en línea para importar tus propios audios, eliminar ruido, cortar y combinar clips, aplicar efectos de audio especiales y mucho más para lograr resultados profesionales.
Ya sea que esté creando música, podcasts o audiolibros, Audacity es una muy buena herramienta para editar audios o música en línea. Es un editor de documentos integrado con nuestro administrador de archivos para administrar solo tipos de archivos de audio con esta aplicación de escritorio.
Sus principales características son:
- Importe archivos de sonido, edítelos y combínelos con otros archivos:
* Importe y exporte archivos WAV, AIFF, AU, FLAC y Ogg Vorbis.
* Importe y exporte todos los formatos compatibles con libsndfile, como GSM 6.10, WAV flotante de 32 y 64 bits y U / A-Law.
* Importe audio MPEG (incluidos archivos MP2 y MP3) usando libmad.
* Importe archivos de audio sin formato (sin encabezado) utilizando el comando "Importar sin formato".
* Crea archivos WAV o AIFF.

- Análisis de audio en línea:
* Modos de visualización de espectrograma para visualizar frecuencias.
* Comando "Plot Spectrum" para un análisis de frecuencia detallado.
* "Exportación de datos de muestra" para exportar a un archivo que contiene valores de amplitud para cada muestra en la selección.
* Análisis de contraste para analizar las diferencias rms promedio de volumen entre el habla en primer plano y la música de fondo.
Esta extensión está disponible para usuarios en línea gratuitos, pero también permite la integración con usuarios premium e implementaciones OffiDocs locales donde está instalado OffiDocs Audacity.
IMPORTANTE: Esta extensión escanea las URL navegadas para detectar archivos de audio. Los archivos de audio detectados aparecen en una lista de archivos ubicada en la ventana emergente de extensión que se recuperan de nuestros servidores. El escaneo se realiza desde nuestros servidores para que su URL se informe a nuestro sistema. No se recopilan datos personales. Este análisis se puede desactivar con una casilla de verificación que aparece en la ventana emergente de la extensión. Si desactiva este escaneo, esta funcionalidad no estará disponible, por lo que la funcionalidad de la extensión será muy limitada.

- (2023-09-29) Rob Beard: When trying to open Audacity after the long annoying wait it came up with an error message saying that Audacity couldn't find a safe place to store temporary files. Trying different locations (/tmp. ~ as it's running on a remote Linux server) didn't work. I did manage to get it to load once with Edge but it's such a hassle to transfer files between the remote session and my local PC (not to mention clicking out of the browser window would close the session) that I gave up. I've got an ad-blocker installed which removed the ads but I suspect it's probably riddled with ads, the extension asked to show popups for a website so I wouldn't be surprised if I'd allowed that there would be numerous popups appear. I certainly wouldn't trust something like this in a school setting which I was investigating the extension for. In the end I found a better browser based solution called Twistedwave (twistedwave.com/online) which worked much better.

When I try to open a file, it seems to be looking at Linux files, not my Chromebook files. What a complete disappointment!

However, it in not way will recognize a Recording, or input device. I didn't check about existing files. However, Recording, is the ONLY reason I had this Chromebook and for Audacity since used it for years quite successfully with hundreds of songs published all over. I read the app control about USB devices and this newly released Chrombook has three and one of each "type" - it recognized none. How? does one use a DAW? a USB port. The "mic" on the Chromebook? Even that didn't work. So? - Don't off useless apps Chrome Web Store or make them fix them? OMG!

I'm calling it now that everyone who rated it more than 3 stars is either a bot or artificially raising the review rating. These idiots plastered ads everywhere, pretty much making the thing worthless. From other reviews I can tell they used the oldest version of Audacity to copypaste ads all over considering how others say this is impossible to import files into. Deleting this extension permanently, the creator site also asks for notification permission which I'm betting is just to plaster even more garbage ads all over your browser. Christ, this sucks.

- (2021-09-06) Cademon Smith: Works well, I will tell you in order for it actually serve it's purpose you must go to the home section on the app and upload your files from there, then launch audacity to actually use and edit them. When your done from there, save from audacity to those files and download it from the home section in the app again. It's a weird process, but at least it works..
