UPDATE - DEC 28, 2025 Given the extension developer has addressed the concerns brought up, I wanted to correct the review with a higher star rating to compensate as I didn't expect them to make the changes they did. They still need to update their Privacy Policy fully on their website and the Extension Page hasn't updated to reflect their stated changes. While I still think better options are available, credit where credit is due - they claim to have improved and made the changes for transparency and privacy. --- ORIGINAL REVIEW: Use something else, and here's why: 1. Deceptively states it's "Free" when it's instead a "Freemium" extension with limited functionality without paying. Mind you, this is done without disclosure of what premium features are left out of the free plan on the extension page itself making this an avoidance of true upfront transparency like many other extensions. 2. Requires "User Activity" permissions without proper disclosure of what that entails on the extension page. While in their privacy policy they claim anonymity of data - this usage of Google Analytics provides them with more than enough information to de-anonymize a user based on what extensions they have, interact with, etc - especially since they tie it to a User ID. Ultimately these analytics are an unnecessary addition for the tool, and only serve as another downside when comparing this extension manager to other ones which are *actually* free. 3. Adding onto the so-called anonymized data claims. If you want to delete all that analytical and usage data which could be used to identify you? Tough luck. On their website they state the following: "Since we don't collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data to delete". However, since GPDR and California Law understand (as the developer should to) that even "anonymized" data is personal data - you can exercise your rights under both provisions. How is that possible if there is no collected data they can delete otherwise? You be the guess, but the answer is clear to me: It's because they do have data they could delete, but only will do so if legally required. All in all. Go with something else that's free, transparent and not a data collector dishonestly passing "anonymization" onto you as a failsafe.

Limited freemium + no pricing mentioned in the presentation = dark pattern marketing. If there is a price to pay to get what is in the presentation it should be shown upfront, not after we installed the extension.

i just wanted to test it as it's a new extension but i have to admit i like it more than i though, the idea to enable/disable extension automatically according to the profile currently used is awesome. but the most feature i appreciated if the possibility to add an extension rule for a specific website, for instance i like to activate the adblocker extension just when i visite youtube. first i had to do it manually, but with Extensio, you just need to setup the rule and forget about it. really awsome!

great extension. the UI is beautiful and intuitiv. you can with one click enable/disable all extensions.. or using profiles, you can activate a group if extensions automatically depending on which profile you are using. a great feature. but what i'm waiting for is the option to enable/disable extensions depending on the website you're visiting... i hope this feature is integrated in the next update.
