This Add-on brings back old twitter by changing the user agent of all your browsers requests to the one of an older browser

EXPLANATION FOR REQUIRING THE BROWSING HISTORY PERMISSION:
If you install the add-on there will be a warning that it can read your browsing history. This is technically true, however it doesn't. It needs the permission to clean the cache for twitter after installing. GoodTwitter does NOT collect any information about you, it does NOT use any analytics at all.

For anyone reading this , there is a extension that is similiar to this one called "Old Twitter Layout (2025)"
Useless now. You can't have this extension on without it breaking the site. Its not even elons fault, its literally that they removed the old API and replaced it with an actually much better one. Not like old twitter mattered anyway, since the shortcuts for certain things stopped being helpful cuz moments are annoying. Instead this should be updated to replace all "X" assets with Twitter ones and the URL. Till then, this new review stands.

A very outdated extension would love an update if possible. I would happily redo my review if that were the case. I get the error, "This browser is no longer supported." Please switch to a supported browser to continue using Twitter.com. You can see a list of supported browsers in our Help Centre. " I'm guessing Elon Musk had some say.

J'aimais bien cette extension pour re avoir l'ancien twitter mais maintenant il ne marche plus :( car quand je le mets twitter dit que se navigateur n'est pas pris en charge twitter forcent vraiment :/

This extension was fantastic, but alas, Twitter hates its users, and now it doesn't work. Not sure why all these "old Twitter" extensions are still on the webstore. Does Google prevent you from taking it down or something? Oh well, just adding my own review so people don't think this still works. Which they'd know from the description anyway, but still.

It was nice to use this app, and I'd like to appreciate the developer. Although Twitter's new UI has serious issues with Korean input methods, Twitter has not taken any attention. Despite the forced update to the new UI, I still used to use this extension because I wanted to let them know why this kind of app is still not removed. Since today, users with deprecated browsers or this extension cannot see any tweets and timelines anymore. Now I can find out why Twitter can't take a larger slice of pie in Korea, but it's just their choice... Thank you to the developer again!

This extension was amazing while it lasted, but Twitter's recent updates have completely broken the extension for no reason whatsoever. Instead of bemoaning the developer being "silent" on issues he cannot resolve due to Twitter purposefully preventing it from working(including twitter adding a malicious script to block people from using their website if they had this. The extension was godly. Unfortunately twitter decided to bring Phone UI into a PC environment. It was good while it last.
