Getting started (3 steps)
1) Install Reddit Analyzer (works immediately — sign up later for more credits but still free, no credit card required)
2) Open any Reddit thread/subreddit/search and click Analyze
3) Read the summary, or start a Chat to dig deeper

Open the popup any time to manage everything in one place

• Saved tab: build a library, search it, export (Markdown/JSON) or publish them as public links

Built‑in modes (and Custom modes)
Modes are analysis styles for different goals. Examples:
• Summary: structured overview with key points and consensus
• Debate: competing viewpoints and strongest arguments on each side
• Roast: comedic, sarcastic take (for fun)
• Explain Simply: plain‑language explanation
• AI Slop Detector: spots AI‑generated comments hiding in threads
• Custom: write your own prompt (great for workflows like “Product feedback extractor” or “Research checklist”)

Modes are page‑type aware (Thread vs Subreddit vs Search), so you can keep different custom modes for each.

Analyze vs Chat (when to use which)
• Analyze: “Give me the best structured answer in one go.” Great when you’re new to a thread/subreddit.
• Chat: “Let me interrogate the page.” Great for follow‑ups, edge cases, and compare/contrast questions.

Reddit Analyzer is standardized on robust Cloud AI (via OpenRouter) to deliver the highest quality extraction and reasoning.

The popup header shows your monthly credit usage so you always know where you stand.

Privacy (plain English)
• The extension reads Reddit content only when you click Analyze or start a Chat.
• The selected page content is sent to our AI providers to generate a response.
• Analyses/chats are stored locally in your browser for History/Saved features. (Links are only uploaded to the cloud if you explicitly use the "Share Publicly" feature).

Compatibility
• Works on reddit.com (new Reddit UI): threads, subreddits, and search pages.
• Not supported: old.reddit.com (the toolbar is disabled there).
• Not affiliated with or endorsed by Reddit.

Quick troubleshooting (store‑friendly)
• Toolbar not visible: make sure you're on reddit.com (not old.reddit.com). The toolbar auto‑injects on navigation, but a refresh can help after first install.
• Not signed in: open the extension popup and click “Sign In to Get Started”.
