• (2017-11-24) Lucy Beck: Been using Zoho Writer for about 4 years. I'm a converted MS Word user and I have to say Zoho Writer is now my go to tool whether I am at my desk top or working from an iPAD. Its a first class tool and SOOO much better than Google DOCS. I'd highly recommend it to anyone - unless you are doing very complex layouts and long documents in which case you will probably want a more sophisticated editor.

• (2016-06-04) Kayla Wiggins: You should heed the few people who experienced the same problems wit this app. DO NOT use it as an alternative to Google Docs, it ate my multi-page documents and did not save a single version of them OR the orignal copies. You can't even leave anything open on your desktop because it will end up displaying an error message. This just isn't worth the hassle of having to re-do entire assignments.

• (2014-10-16) D Shingle: I've been using Zoho for personal and professional work for several weeks now. At first, I really liked it, but now I've switched back to plain old google docs. Zoho keeps giving me error messages every other day, saying that my documents have been deleted. After a complaint email, my documents come back 15 minutes to an hour later. Their support is nice, but having a heart attack every other day about missing documents is not. Zoho is fun, but I find it untrustworthy in the long run. My advice, don't put anything on it you can't live without.

Orcutt: Here's the bottom line: If you write ANYTHING long-form (e.g., novels, nonfiction books, long articles, etc.), then you MUST get this app. Once you reach a certain word count with your document, Google Docs will stop working; it will keep displaying a message that reads, "Can't save changes..." From the moment I uploaded my current book to Zoho Writer, I didn't encounter any such messages. This being said, if THIS doesn't work, I'm dumping my Chromebook for a Macbook Air.

When I came back there was an error and now when I try to open my document it only leads me to this page so I can rate it. There's a bad user interface, improve that, and you'll get five stars.
