- (2025-06-27) Leonardo Del Valle: I loved the explanation videos, i dont know why people are saying it is unhelpful. Yes it is glitchy at times, but it is better to have them than not for quick solutions. I bought the course and it would take forever to get to the part of what I needed to watch. But perhaps making the videos an option like the test day simulator, that way both parties are happy. I definitely dont want them removed. I love JW.
- (2025-06-25) Nader Ahmed: Its not working please fix asap
- (2025-06-24) Ema Barua: Its not working. I cant tell if its something on my end or not.
- (2025-06-13) Greg Maceno: keeps glitching, and those explanation videos need to be removes asap
- (2025-05-10) Ryan: Extension is great. Im shocked by those complaining. The videos are amazing. If I were to give one suggestion, it would be to format the answer explanations a bit better. The wall of text makes it hard. But LOVE the videos!
- (2025-05-08) Bob Smith: Explanations are absolutely atrocious, better than aamc? yes, but still garbage. The addition of the video interface was horrible, it makes reviewing an absolute nightmare. The sole purpose of including the video with the first 30 seconds is to bait people into purchasing a subscription
- (2025-04-17) Nadia Hamed: OVERKILL!!!!! I had to remove the extension, it was a mess, although I will say it was better than AAMC explanations. However, please remove the video and the explanation does not need to be the length of the declaration of independence, I removed the extension because it became too much, reddit works better anyways for explanations.
- (2025-04-14) Maria Silva: This is such a mess. The explanations are helpful, but the obnoxious interface when reviewing the answers is so unnecessary and distracting. I don't mind that they plug in the links to the tutors after every answer choice, but manipulating the whole display is overkill. I'll be uninstalling and utilizing other tools for clarification on explanations.
- (2025-04-13) Arden Pedraja: really helpful information but it is displayed in a really obnoxious way. Sometimes when reviewing I just want to review the question, the answer options, and the correct answer so that I can see where I went wrong before being inundated with videos, drawings, and paragraphs of information from JW. All of these materials would be much more helpful and efficient if stored under a type of "see more" tab.
- (2025-02-03) Hunter Coulter: The good: the explanations are 1 billion times better than AAMC's. The bad: When completing AAMC questions, the JW extension tends to bug out and shows the questions I answered as being completed, but when I click "done practicing", it grades questions I didn't even look at. For example, if I did questions 35-40, when I submit, it grades 34-39 and all of the answers are off by one so my accuracy goes down. If you think it might mess with your mental seeing a lower than normal percentage, this might not be as helpful for you. Also, when highlighting, I will be able to highlight but once I go to the next question in the passage, it erases the highlighting and I can't get it back. A waste of time. Also, if I wanted to flag questions using whatever strategies, I wouldn't be able to see the questions I flagged when reviewing.
- (2025-01-17) Max Foote: Lots of issues with the highlighting feature and flagging on AAMC practice. Even marked a couple of the problems I got right as incorrect and marked a few questions as having been answered even though I didn't do them. The JW logo is everywhere too on the AAMC site. Also, one of the benefits of just using the AAMC UI is that you can mark how confident you are on a question and retrospectively compare your self-perception of mastery with actual content mastery. Overall, the JW extension UI is a bit messy and could really use some upgrades. If it wasn't, they should have tested this extension as a beta before they released to the public as a representation of Jack Westin. I was really excited to try this out, and I will keep experimenting, but ultimately I have been disappointed.
- (2024-09-12) Snow Bitten: Does not flag questions
- (2024-08-20) Faizan Talib: Great explanations, way better than the AAMC ones, however the JW logos are very distracting, they can be toned down a little bit. The extension also floods the entire page with every solution to every question all onto one page, not sure why.
- (2024-07-07) Adam Allouch: Great, but flagged questions while taking a practice session/exam don't show up when reviewing. Would be perfect if this was corrected.
- (2024-06-28) Reagan Lee: This extension is a game changer and I tell every premed/mcat student to get it!! I gave it 4 stars because sometimes, like others say, the JW logo is so obnoxiously large that it makes it rather distracting and annoying to review the questions/answers. But this only happens sometimes and mostly on the Chem/phys and Bio/biochem section which is very strange. But I really like that the AAMC explanations are still present so I can compare the two. I think the extension needs some tweaking but it has been great thus far! Thanks Jack Westin for saving me time so I don't have to reddit every single AAMC question looking for a better explanation.
- (2024-06-21) Tanner Rakos: extension is amazing, really helps simulate the exam with the AAMC format, and the explanations are 100x better than AAMC's.
- (2024-05-16) Allie T: Seems like a good extension. but why are the JW logos so HUGE in the solutions... makes it difficult to scroll more :(
- (2024-05-09) Maria Marroquin: I'm having the same issue - it is not longer changing the interface to how it looks on test day. Its really annoying and doesn't make me feel like I'm taking the mcat.
- (2024-05-09) Matthew Minhquang Nguyen: Extension is working by providing JW solutions, but after a couple days of using it, it is no longer changing the interface to replicate how the test looks!! Im stuck with the default aamc practice interface!!!
- (2024-04-18) Sanjay Patel: Displays the AAMC material really well (especially for practice material and review) but sometimes does not work well. When using it, the passage will just stop responding to my clicks and prevent me from navigating. I've needed to reload the page and have had progress lost or gotten questions incorrect due to it not working. At this point, AAMC should just use the proper interface instead of the garbage they put out. Apart from this, the content and explanations are (usually) very good and help to understand everything better. Some explanations feel like they "go with it" and don't add a whole lot, but most are good.
- (2024-04-18) denis: Extension works well but it just repeats the AAMC explanation with more words but no added substance. Explanations are oftentimes more confusing than they are helpful
- (2024-03-02) Fatima A: the Jack westin logo pops up like 5 times in the review mode and they are HUGE! it is really hard to read the review having to scroll so much just to read an answer choice
- (2024-01-04) Matthew Lapinig: Great info but TERRIBLE extension. Never works properly.
- (2023-09-28) Bradley Chapman: This is a GAME CHANGER for reviewing AAMC material. I heard about this extension through the Jack Westin MCAT podcast and I am so thankful for all of you for creating this, along with your many other resources! 10/10

- (2023-08-13) Wonton Guo: Answer explanations are good but please!!!!!!! Whenever I transfer from the AAMC portal to the extension in Qpacks and some other practice material my answer choices get all randomized and wrong. Please fix! Also, sometimes it takes forever to load this thing when reviewing FL'.s

- (2023-08-03) Tim Sohn: Very useful since AAMC won't change the format back, but this thing is very glitchy, and since the Aug. 2 2023 update, it goes well beyond just being glitchy. I cannot click "done" very often, the passage will not change with the questions (ex. Stay on passage 1 as questions keep moving on), unable to view solutions on many questions using the App. I used this yesterday before the update, and as of the update today it is significantly more glitchy and almost unusable now.

- (2023-08-03) Black Spartacus Studios: It's a really good extension. The downside is that it's very glitchy, it when you doing reviews at a certain point in the passages the explanations stop showing and you'll have to go to reddit for better explanations.

- (2023-05-31) Kimberly Tavares: The highlight and strikethrough doesn't work. Makes it very difficult to focus on important information in the passage and eliminate wrong answers. Please fix this. Other than this, its a great extension.

- (2023-04-11) Dalton Nonweiler: It definitely adds value by elaborating on the AAMC answers. But, it's pretty buggy and doesn't have answers for FL5. Most annoyingly, it wipes out any highlighting you did on the exam when you go to review it with answers. Good idea, a lot of room for improvement.

- (2023-03-26) Mark Youssef: As others have mentioned, this would be amazing if it works right. I found that on AAMC material, it can reset your work (happens quite a bit), or will say a correct answer chosen is incorrect (BUT I THINK THIS IS FIXED IN A RECENT UPDATE), or will skip questions (this is new to me).

- (2022-12-21) Kimmy Phan: I love seeing the AAMC questions in MCAT format, however whenever I use it, it tells me all my answers are incorrect, regardless of whether I get them correct or incorrect. Once I exit out of the extension, it will then update on the AAMC website that I got the question right or wrong. It throws me off a lot.Other than that, this is a great extension to have while studying for the MCAT!

- (2022-05-10) Allan: Testing this Friday but wanted to leave a review before I forget. I'm incredibly grateful for this extension and why the AAMC doesn't format their practice material to simulate their ACTUAL exam is beyond me. Like another reviewer mentioned, if I'm on question #1 and want to go to question #50, I have to click through the questions one by one. This is NOT an issue for FLs (what counts), so I'd love for that to be addressed. Thank you JW and team, your resources (particularly daily CARS) have provided a ton of value. Signing off, -DryBones
