目前，Windows上的Chromium用户（使用Chrome或Microsoft Edge）无法看到国旗的表情符号。而是显示一个国家代码。这个扩展将使用一种特殊的字体将这些缩写替换成其对应的国旗。
这个扩展使用了Twemoji国家旗帜字体，它是基于Twemoji的（在CC BY-ND 2.0下授权）。
