NOTE ON SAVE SUPPORT: Starting with version 1.2.0 there is a menu available to save. This can be accessed by "right-clicking" on the game (two fingered click on chromebooks). "Save" to a file and "Load" it later.

UltraBarbot 2024-07-18: Pretty bad. You could get emulators that work better using your browser (emulator JS). You cannot map any of your keybinds, and the keybinds that are preset are arbitrary. My hands gotta move so far. Additionally, the sound is horrendous. No option to save state or fast forward, either. Test your emulator before releasing it.

rick morty 2024-04-12: This app was good I used it for many years but all of a sudden this year in 2024 it just stopped working. The app would either take over 5 minutes to load the game or not load at all. The funny thing is that it only runs mario land 2 and street fighter 2. I have tried everything to fix this but it just doesn't work. If anybody has suggestions to fix this put them down here.
scout 2024-01-26: Good but while I was playing golden sun it froze during a battle and it won't let me re open the app without signing out and back in. Pls Fix.

Aqua RiCo 2023-06-15: I like this emulator. But when I wanna play Mega Man Zero 2, the game and emulator just freeze and I can't do anything anymore. If I close it, I can't open it again. This only happens when Mega Man Zero 2 is loaded.

Creative WØlf 2023-05-25: Just got this again and immediately can't play the games I wanted to. They're all nintendo games, so are they not supported? The file says they're nds, but I can't figure out how to change it. They used to work when I downloaded this a long time ago in middle school, but now it doesn't
Torin 2023-05-05: Probably the best emulator out there for chromebook, however it's not without its issues. The audio is very choppy, there's no option to set a specific aspect ratio, and you can't set your keybinds. The last issue is a pretty big one, as I'm trying to get a friend to try out a game, but all of his controls are scattered across the keyboard, making it difficult to perform basic movement.
Spooky Buzzy 2023-04-17: I love this app so much. It functions very well, and I've found so many great games to play. The only two drawbacks I have discovered are the fact that there is no way to adjust the sound for the app itself (such as having my Chromebook play Spotify or YouTube in the background and muting the GPemu app), and the graphics on certain games. The graphics issue I have is that with certain older games, like Pokemon Yellow, due to the game graphics originally made for screens that were not backlit, the graphics are bright neon colors that are very hard to look at for long periods of time. That's just a minor inconvenience. However, it would be great if they added the ability to adjust the volume for the GPemu app itself.

Carter Swinney 2022-11-15: This is BEST emulator for Chromebook! Even my friend asked me to send this app! However, the issue is there is no custom control. What I recommend is to add custom controller and speed adjuster. Other than that, I loved this app!

fat gt 2022-09-26: This emulator is great, but I looked through the reviews and it appears nobody else is having the same problem that I have. My saved games just disappear, when I come back to a game I haven't played in a while, the save is just gone, it just resets for no reason. Is this just me? Why is this happening?
MercilessRattler 2022-09-20: speed up and custom controls would be nice, but other than that it's good. Back in the day you couldn't speed up or change controls so there's no reason to complain about that. Also, you can use the rest of the keyboard too. You don't have to use a b x y. I use z for b, x for y, c for a, and v for x.
Robotomize 2022-08-13: I don't really care about reviews for things but this is one of the best emulators for the gameboy on chrome book. Only issues are the Ability not to customise the controls. Other than that amazing! (For the people who want to reset tap the touch pad with two fingers to go to the menu of the app)

Brianna Lavendier_23 2022-04-29: Great emulator for ChromeOS. I've actually been using this emulator since 2016ish, and it performs the same as it did back then. The audio for the emulated games is still as glitchy/laggy as it was 6 years ago, but that's far from a dealbreaker when it's literally an emulator running on a cruddy 9 year old Chromebook. A nice feature would be custom button mapping, as I've noticed that the A and B buttons seem to be switched for me (the A key functions as B in-game and vice versa). Overall, pretty great for when I'm bored during school.

Ez Dubs 2021-08-26: I LOVED this app it let me play the old Pokemon games and experience other games from the old consoles too. The only problem with this app is the fact that I cannot seem to find a volume setting, I need to turn my system volume up or down and this is not good when you are listening to something else on your same system such as a podcast or in a call with some friends. Other than that this emulator is 5/5
