Finding free images of high quality is a tedious task - due to copyright issues, attribution requirements, or simply the lack of quality. This inspired us to create Pixabay - a repository for hundreds of thousands of stunning public domain images, all of which under Creative Commons copyright waiver CC0.
You may freely use any image from this website in digital and printed format, for personal and commercial use, without attribution requirement to the original author.

- (2016-04-28) Nicola Jones: I love Pixabay. I don't agree with Deborah's comment. In my experience, if you report anything copyrighted, the website administrators always take it seriously. It has 500,000 images and I use it daily on a business FB page. The images are great and it's an excellent well run community site. Love the app...it brightens up my day.

- (2015-10-21) Jimmie Hammel: Pixabay is my favorite free stock art website. I frequently find better quality photos on pixabay than on shutter stock. One piece of advice for users. Because the artists on pixabay aren't selling their photos, they don't use as many search tags in their labels as on other sites, so you'll need to learn to be creative with your searches!
- (2015-04-01) Deborah Hearne: Some of the images on the website are stolen copyrighted images. A lot of them are stolen from Flickr. Make sure you check to see if the images are copyrighted by doing a reverse image search. If you report copyrigthed images to the website administrators, they will ban your account.
