(2021-01-29) Stefan Grabe: It works perfect as expected! Of course, you have to know/ learn how to use it. It's dead simple. Just click it and chose your desired resolution. Done and it's working! I tried many other extensions which worsened the situation. I removed the other Extension and go with it for now. I suspect many bad reviews are probably fakes.

(2020-11-27) John Miller: Well, I won't give it a 1 star, because it did slightly improve my situation. But only barely. To be blunt, none of the videos actually stay at the setting I choose on the extension. For instance, if I choose 1080p, the videos still just play at "auto". The only thing that improved somehow, is instead of defaulting to 360p like they did previously (before installing the extension), now they default to 480p. So... far far far from "working", but better than nothing I guess.
