Dark Mode for your favourite sites, turn the bright lights off
Dark Mode is an extension that helps you quickly turn the screen (browser) to dark at night time. Toolbar icon serves as a toggle button that enables you to quickly Enable or Disable the add-on (note: the icon will change color once you click on it).
If you do not like the current dark theme, please visit the options page and choose a different theme from over 50 available options.
Dark Mode can be used for Facebook, Google, Youtube and many many more. Some websites are already optimized for Dark Mode, like YouTube™ and Reddit™. Turn on Dark Mode in Chrome's settings or with this extension to make it easier on your eyes!

Toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch which enables you to easily and quickly turn the extension ON or OFF.
After installing the extension, you can see a new toolbar button next to your address bar. You can turn on or off this feature by clicking on this button. The current status is displayed using an icon in the address bar. With just one click, you can turn on or off Dark Mode for your current website.
Just click the icon to toggle between Dark Mode and Normal mode. Everything is done instantly, without any reloading of pages.
If you want to disable Dark Mode only temporarily, just use the ESC key on your keyboard. It will instantly disable Dark Mode on all websites until you enable it again using the toolbar button or using the ESC key.
The Super Dark Mode extension can darken almost all websites, as well as local files opened by Chrome, such as PDFs. From now on, your eyes can be relaxed when browsing the web on the screen at night.
🔔 There are two web pages that the Super Dark Mode cannot darken:
+ The Chrome store: Google does not allow access to the Chrome store site to change the theme.
💡 HOW TO USE SDM:
1. Turn on/off the dark mode manually:
+ After installing the Super Dark Mode, you need to reload all opened sites.
+ Click on the extension icon to turn on/off the dark mode or use shortcut: Ctrl+Q (Windows, Linux, Chromebook), CMD+Q (Mac).
2. Automatic schedule:
+ Right click on the extension icon.
+ Choose "Options".
+ Navigate to "Automatic Schedule", and Enable "Auto ON/OFF" in the section 1.
3. Exclude/Include a site from the dark mode:
+ Right click on the site.
+ Choose "Super Dark Mode" > "Disable/Enable Super Dark Mode for this site" or press Ctrl+Shift+E (Windows, Linux, Chromebook), CMD+Shift+E (Mac).
4. Customize colors for websites:
- On the option page, navigate to "General Dark Themes", choose "Modern Dark Theme".
- Change all colors you want.
5. Reduce brightness/contrast: on the option page, navigate to "Advanced settings", and adjust the value bar.
6. Custom the Global CSS:
+ On the option page, navigate to "Custom CSS", and write CSS rules.
+ Hit the "Save and Apply" button.
7. Add the pattern to the background: On the option page, navigate to "Advanced Settings", and Check on "Enable Pattern".

- (2022-10-18) Burn Lit (Burnlit): It looks really good on google docs but looks odd or just doesn't work on other sites; probably because I already have dark mode on. It makes the sheet off white and easier on the eyes, and the top and side bars pitch black. I pair this with Focus Dark for Google Docs where it incorporates only the fading bars from that amazing extension. Thus I forced this extension to only go on google doc sites. EDIT: Been using this ext for a few days now and a pop up keep asking for feedback coming up every time I launch the browser; specifically when I turn on the extension. Even though I already gave me feedback it still kept asking me. I guess it didn't heard me. Aside from this annoying thing, the extension it self is nice, but not worth getting the popup every damn day.
