Turn on dark mode for Google Docs with one click. A comfortable dark theme for writing and editing at night.
Google Docs opens on a bright white page and has no built-in dark theme on the desktop web. This extension adds one.
Open a document and the page switches to a dark background with light text. Contrast is tuned so that headings, tables and comments stay readable, and one click on the toolbar icon switches everything back.

How to use it
1. Install the extension.
2. Open any document on docs.google.com.
3. Click the icon in the Chrome toolbar to turn the theme on or off.

- I REALLY like this extension! Works WAY better than the others I have tried that invert weird or don't take into account you don't want EVERYTHING to be dark mode. The ONLY thing I don't love about it, is that I can't customize the yellow accent colour. That would be suuuuper nice.

- Doesn't work? I hit download and it sent me to a page that wouldn't load after hitting reload many times, and when i went to google docs to check if it worked, it hadn't. And no, no pages are blocked on this account nor this wifi. I don't know what happened because I believe I found this same one whilst searching last night. I do have an adblocker but a lot of things get past it and I don't see why the page would have not been able to be viewed because of that.

- Partially works - fine in documents, but the home page for Docs is showing some parts in dark and others in light mode, suggesting there's a bug Google have created that the dev will need to fix.

- I have tried all the available extensions for dark mode in Google Docs, but I was disappointed. Every dark mode extension was annoying to look at. Contrast was too much, which was hurting my eyes during long working hours. But this solved that problem. Though I didn't like the yellow color at first, but after working for hours, I noticed that the yellow color was not hurting my eyes, and the contrast level and color choice are good enough.

- The yellow isnt necessarily my favorite color scheme, but this is one of if not the only dark mode that actually works on all the right stuff including the sidebar for tables. Tried all kinds of css hacks and half a dozen or so other extensions trying to find something that worked. This one does, so big thanks for that!
