Technical and Functional Transparency:
- Simple Price Alerts periodically checks the prices of selected products. The delay between checks can be configured: 1hr (by default) or 12hr.
- Following the latest Google recommendations, Simple Price Alerts uses the secure Fetch API to download the necessary data.
- A developer mode allows for consultation of logs from URLs checked in the background.
- Simple Price Alerts may provide links to affiliated products. This feature can be disabled in the user interface settings.
- Simple Price Alerts requires read and write permissions on the viewed pages to verify displayed prices and add a notification bell directly on the page.
