  • (2025-06-15) Google User: No longer has any purpose, it doesn't work, it's abandoned. The last extension database update was in Oct 2024 and the latest notification was in August for me. Those that give 5 stars must be bots.
  • (2025-03-20) Nick Sweeting: I don't get any notifications but clicking the extension to view recent changes seems to work great. Thanks for building this and making it open source! It should be built into Chrome!
  • (2024-07-31) Andrew “Covarr” Covarrubias: Extremely useful extension. I recently started seeing some of my web traffic redirected, and Under New Management helped me identify the extension which had been sold and ruined. Would be five stars if it notified me when an extension changed owners rather than merely logging for me to find, but still absolutely worth installing.
  • (2024-06-19) Alaster C.: I have only realised that you had to click on the extension to see if an extension had changed it's developer info. The thumbnail for this looks like you wait for a notification to pop up, showing the extensions name, icon and new owners. If I didn't know about how it truly worked now, I could've thought that I was totally fine when in the background an extension was taking my sessions away. Anyways, it's pretty good at tracking the info. Some false positives here and there, but overall 4 stars.
  • (2024-05-21) Skip In Perth: This is also available for Firefox. (Heard of it on "Security Now" podcast too)
  • (2024-05-15) Scott: Like many others, heard about this on the excellent Security Now podcast. This is an extension that has been sorely needed for a long time to combat extensions being sold to new owners who may use them to do dubious things.
  • (2024-04-02) Lynne Whitehorn: Couldn't be simpler. It literally gives you a before-and-after list of extension changes. Totally recommended.
  • (2024-03-25) Jeff Tomlin: Also heard about this on Security Now. So glad to have this nagging-in-the-back-or-my-head issue resolved!
  • (2024-03-15) Donn Edwards: Heard about it on the Security Now podcast
  • (2024-03-11) Damien Bancal: Very interesting ! Thank's for idea.
  • (2024-03-09) Marco Kramer: Happy to see this massive security issue taken seriously.
  • (2024-03-08) Gerald Thulbourn: Thank you for picking up on an issue that has worried me for ages.
