Image from store Monitor Panel
Description from store This app consists of customizable floating panels displaying memory, processor, and battery usage. • (2016-03-21) Galactic Populators: This product is excellent in that it works, and at this time there does not appear to be any other app which provides a realtime monitor of resources. I wholeheartedly recommend this product, and support the detailed high quality systems work which led to its creation. This being said, while fresh in mind, here is a dump of non-critical bugs and suggestions applying to the ASUS chromebook deployment: When you rt click the shelf icon, and select memory options, it opens a web store page which immediately crashes in addition to performing the proper action. The following check boxes appear to have no effect in either CPU or mem: Browser icon click: Shelf Panel Bar Shown Automatically: Panel (always on) Bar (what is this?) SUGGESTIONS: Add a monitor of the comm I/O (WiFi) bandwidth currently in use. Make an option to display results in a log bar graph the size of a single large char. Right justify your number results. This would allow, e.g., the ability to render CPU% on top of the rightmost 2 digits of MEM, and have it always make sense. Also, the value of 2 digit numbers would always look bigger than single digit values. Please don't take this as criticism. I love that you have made this product available, and it is ALWAYS running on my Chromebook. It's nice to be able to tell what is going on with the OS.
  • (2016-01-29) S. C.: Instead of using separated panels, it would be better to display those two stats in one panel. Just replace "CPU" and "Memory" by the actual values. And the app would be way more convenient.
  • (2015-05-29) Sergio Pupo: The app is usefull in all computers I have, except in one which has 16GB RAM, and it does not show all digits in the Chrome bar (besides adress bar). An example: if I have 12.8GB available, it shows "1.", and the remaining digits "2.8" are hidden. If I could reduce the size of the bar font, it would be ok.
