Reddit Enhancement Suite is a community-driven unofficial browser extension for Reddit. Please note that RES is specifically designed to work on OLD reddit. Most functionality will not work on the redesign.

- I don't see any difference or improvements versus not using this extension. Most reddit links like ns won't work with OLD reddit rendering this extension useless.

- Sometimes the only thing that makes Reddit bearable (along with "old" reddit in and of itself). Absurd levels of customization, and still highly functional even though it is no longer actively developed (though still maintained). One of the best extensions available on the internet, period.

- Wonderful extension, can't remember when I first installed it but must have been over a decade ago. Seems like longer. To the folks complaining it doesn't work with the new reddit - THAT'S A GOOD THING. Maybe they don't know that Reddit actually gives you the option to use the old interface instead of the new one...it's right there in the Preferences, people. Extensions like Reddit Enhancement Suite help keep the internet working smoothly despite capitalism's best efforts.

- For a few months now using this extension will unfortunately result in HTTP error 429 very often, since Reddit is applying heavy handed API throttling to users of old reddit.

- Works perfectly still. Not sure why that one dude gave it a 1-star for not working on new reddit - none of the redesigns have been worth using in the first place. If you're using "new reddit" you probably don't care for efficiency anyway, so why would you want this plugin? It continues to work perfectly with old reddit, and continues to outperform what the company provided to its users in every way.

- Awesome and very complex plugin, recommend it! + it's relative easy to find the settings you are looking for, because ot has a really good and detailed search function integrated to configure the plugin.

- I understand that development has been basically ceased since developers have moved on. However, I really wished that the disable night mode for specific subreddits feature had gotten more attention and completed beforehand. Nevertheless, res still works extremely well as it has before and keeps the old reddit usable to me even to this very date!

- Still works after the the awful changes at Reddit thankfully. Cut my Reddit time by 90% after the API changes and RIF had to go down, so when I do occasionally check Reddit, this app is the only way. Thanks for all the hard work after all this time!

- I don't mind the new redesign. I mind that it means I can't use RES. RES is incredibly user-friendly, feels so good to use. It integrates into old.reddit so naturally sometimes I go to change my settings and realise what I thought were official reddit features are actually RES ones, further cementing that I will never want to leave it behind.

- What's even the point if it only works with the old reddit? So now you either have to manually change the URL every time you end up on reddit, or you need to implement some other workaround like another extension to automatically forward you to old reddit every time.

- how to change the post's upvotes color? i can't find it, the default color is horrible, it is grey-white while the background is white, change to night mode make it a bit better but still bad how to make the posts more center-aligned instead of the default left-aligned

- For people considering this extension, note that it only works with OLD reddit. It says so in the extension's description. I recommend using the "reddit redirect" extension in conjunction with this one. Even though you can disable new reddit in your profile settings, the redirect extension makes it so that even if you click a new reddit link, or a /r/.... styled link, you'll get the old reddit layout. Why old reddit? One of many reasons: just try loading 20+ old vs new reddit pages on a less performant machine. You're bogging your computer down or depleting your laptop battery without even knowing it.
