YouTube only allows you to remove all watched videos from the Watch Later playlist, not taking progress into account. Videos that have only been partially viewed will also be deleted from the playlist. For individual playlists the function is even not available at all.
★ By means of this extension, the fully viewed videos can be deleted automatically from a playlist.
★ The partially watched videos remain in the playlist and can be watched at a later time.
The extension extends the action menu by the entry "Remove completely watched videos".
"A playlist on YouTube employs a lazy loading technique, meaning that it loads content as needed rather than all at once. Therefore, this extension operates based on the entries that have already been loaded. It doesn't automatically load all entries in the playlist. For the extension to consider more videos, you would need to manually scroll down through your playlist to load more entries."

I am specifically looking for something that only removes completely watched videos. So I would not want it to remove for example a 60 minute video I am 5 minutes into watching or a 20 minute video I am 15 minutes into watching.Userscripts are fine as I am very technical. Please provide links, if possible several links for each option. Make sure no 404. PS3 This extension does even better, I love that I can set a threshold of how watched a video needs to be to remove, eg 90% and greater watched videos get removed.

Extension IS on, and I've refreshed my Youtube page, as well as changed playlist settings (public, private, unlisted). I'd be very happy to update this rating to a higher one if it begins to work, or if the developer wants to chime in and tell me if I'm missing something!

- (2024-01-24) Eric Leung: The button doesn't appear if there are already 6 entries in the playlist hamburger button menu: show unavailable, add videos, add all to, collaborate, playlist settings, delete playlist Also, it seems like it misses videos unless you scroll back up to the top after loading the entire playlist, and on mobile browsers you can't keep scrolling down while the cleanup operation is happening. Still, this is a very helpful tool when it does work! There's just no telling when the playlist menu will or won't load 5 or 6 buttons though :/ Edit: I've tried this out both on desktop and on an android phone with kiwi browser in desktop mode, and the bug appears on both platforms. As for thr mobile site, many of the hamburger buttons don't even appear there, including the playlist hamburger button, although I'm on the lookout for an addon that can add those back since the mobile site does still load much faster... As for why I don't use the app, I like the more granular speed controls that add-ons can bring, including some other features you don't get even with a premium subscription.
