InboxSLA reads Gmail thread metadata (subject, sender, timestamp) to calculate SLA status. Email body content is never read. No email data is stored on external servers — all tracking data remains in your browser's local storage.

Q: Does InboxSLA read the content of my emails?
A: No. InboxSLA reads only thread metadata: sender address, subject line, and received timestamp. The body of your emails is never accessed.
Q: Will it work if I have multiple Gmail accounts?
A: InboxSLA works with the Gmail account you're currently signed into in Chrome. Multi-account support is on the roadmap for a future Pro feature.
Q: What happens if Chrome is closed when a deadline approaches?
A: Chrome Alarms require Chrome to be running. If Chrome is closed, the alarm fires when Chrome is next opened. We recommend keeping Chrome running in the background if SLA compliance is critical.
Q: Can I use this for non-work emails?
A: Absolutely. InboxSLA works with any Gmail inbox — personal, work, or Google Workspace.
Q: How is "response time" calculated?
A: The SLA clock starts when an email arrives in your inbox. It stops when you send a reply to that thread. Business hours calculation is available in Pro.
