• (2025-02-11) EndlessVenom: It used to work amazing, letting me know what website was safe to enter with a green checkmark, which ones to use caution with a yellow exclamation mark, and which ones not to visit at all with a red warning sign...now it seems to mark EVERY single page with a "caution" mark, no matter what page im trying to visit, so I no longer know which ones are actually safe to visit rendering this completely useless

Also changes the icon for the website to the little green w logo for the extension. Makes it impossible to read your search results. I am glad its safe webroot but what is it? Pretty impossible to use as is.

• (2024-06-30) Matt Almgren: Not sure what changed recently, but now all my link names in chrome are replaced with " Trustworthy, It's safe to go" in the title and it makes it difficult to tell what the site is. I've been a long-time Webroot customer and never had this much intrusiveness into my browsing habits. I've disabled the extension for now, as it's annoying as hell.

• (2024-05-27) Paul Fox: I had an expired version of webroot on my windows PC and thought I had updated my keycode by downloading the wsinstall file and double clicking, but I had NOT. The following link helped me update to my NEW keycode. https://answers.webroot.com/Webroot/ukp.aspx?pid=2&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&solutionid=1564 Then I checked the SECURITY summary for my webroot account and verified both my Desktop and Laptops were listed. Hope this helps others. I tried to post a screenshot of the security TAB but was not able to.
• (2024-05-17) Stacey Cotter: I'm in the same boat as everyone who posted in April and May 2024...I have no idea if I'm covered or not, although I know I paid for it; they at least did confirm that much. I know I have an account, can get into it, but then it tells me my subscription has expired. The instructions are not user friendly, and do not confirm anything is activated, secured, been downloaded...nothing!

All I wanted to do is renew my coverage. It should be a simple transfer of coverage. I'm seriously considering changing to a different coverage if it isn't simplified next time.

I see numerous comments about how it's impossible to uninstall from Chrome, but there's a big blue button that says, "remove from Chrome," which takes all of about 15 seconds to perform, if you don't want it. I find it to work well, so I appreciate the extension of my Webroot program.

Choosing to use malwarebytes instead now.
