- (2023-08-17) Chris Buckley: Should be a default Gmail option. Far improves the system.
- (2023-06-10) Gabrielius: I used it for 5 mins so far, but I love it, because it does the job it says it does. 5 USD / month is a bit too steep for myself, but I fully understand the creator, who needs to pay the bills. It could have more features. E.g. remove "Fwd:" at the front of the subject, when forwarding an email. Sometimes you don't want the addressee to see it was a forwarded email. On a final note, personally for me, it could be cheaper a bit with even more little features inside.
- (2023-05-25) Chris Facey: Updating my review below to 5 stars as Tim and Emile resolved all the issues I brought up immediately and this extension is now working great again for me. Thank you guys! Will continue to support this project.
- (2023-05-11) Chris Facey: Hi Guys - I've been using the free version and it worked great until whatever changes came with the paid version. I am now on the paid version trial and I would like to try the paid version because I do find that this saves me time daily. However, When I pop out my replies and try to click on the tool bar (send, attach, etc) it instantly disappears. Then I have to X out, reopen and attach/send from the window. I definitely will remove if this is not fixed as it's many more clicks than just opening the subject and CC (not to mention it is very frustrating). Can you please fix or advise the issue?
- (2023-04-19) John DeMicco: Excellent! Nice to not have to use an email client to solve the problem, Prevents so many errors & self-sabatoge when switching between myself and other senders. A huge helps ADHDers. Great fix for such a big design error by GMail. $5/mo is a little too much tho.
- (2023-04-11) Mattias A: I used this plugin before but since they started to charge money I changed to "Gmail Settings Extender" which is free, has way more options + it works smoother too (probably just better coded). Thanks for starting to charge for this lower end code so I could find out there's a better free option out there!
- (2023-04-09) Jakob: Amazing, thank you Tim! Sorry froom free to 5.-, how about 1.- (Gmail is 6.-)?
- (2023-04-07) Brian Bennett: Was great, now a rip off. $60 a year. Ridiculous. Go back to free or add a lot more features worth charging for.
- (2023-04-07) Peter Hudak: I get it they have costs associated with the development, but cmon $5 per month is a joke. I pay that much for 3 licenses of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and 3x Onedrive of 1 TB each. Ok, let's say Microsoft is a behemoth and can give a great pricing. I am using TickTick paid version which is $3.5 per month or smting like that. They still offer free plan and it's a ROBUST to-do list app not a simple gmail pop-up extension which requires maybe 1% of development compared to TickTick. And I can see that others see it as a nonsense pricing as well and it's ridiculous how developer replies to each negative review that the pricing makes sense lol :D Uninstalling
- (2023-04-05) Paul 777: Paid product, spent thousands in development - what a joke, it barely works, no way it is stable enough or consistent enough to be worth paying for. Removed.
- (2023-04-05) Thanks for the developer for allowing us to use this feature free of charges all this time, for the poor who can't afford it, the extension parked in the following link could be a good substitute. https://extpose.com/ext/116652/en
- (2023-04-03) Earl Ruwell: Complete joke to change this to a paid add-on for $5 a month. The app was helpful, but I hope people uninstall immediately and don't settle for the extortion out of nowhere.
- (2023-04-03) rabim info: Was a good and useful addon but 60$ per year? That's "a bit" too much, don't you guys think for a simple addon? Only once in years did google's changes "break" it and you had to fix it a while back so is there *really* so much hard work involved and a *really* a whole team of you working on this every day to justify this kind of fee? C'mon now...:)
- (2023-04-03) 曽我謙一: It is a great and neat extension, but asking for $5 a month is not worth it.
- (2023-04-01) RVJ: Asking for $5 a month is ridiculous. EVERYONE WILL UNINSTALL and you will have noone to rip off. Someone else will create the same thing for FREE!
- (2023-04-01) Francesco Casuscelli: 5 USD al mese è troppo! Fosse stato all'anno, avrei pagato, ma al mese è ASSURDO! Disinstallata.
- (2023-03-31) Sabri Berisha: Worked great, then they pushed an update to extort money. Fastest way to get your 7,000 users to uninstall and find a similar extension. Or wait, I can code one myself.
- (2023-03-31) Guy Rouillard: Great extension that provides some features that should always had been available in Google Mail. Even if it is very useful, I am going to remove it because it is becoming a paid extension. I don't think a monthly expense of 5 USD is justified for this feature. I'd pay maybe 5 USD for a year, but for 60 USD yearly, I am not interested.
- (2023-03-16) Patrick Melo: The quality of my life just improved drastically with this extension!
- (2023-01-14) Sandré de Paula: very nice! easy to use! shows subject on reply, very useful. Thanks! Fácil de usar, exibe a linha de assunto (subject) ao responder ou encaminhar email. Muito útil!
- (2022-11-23) Vincent Ali Poerwanto: I will keep write review for this superb and awesome extension which is the best of the best as its increase our productivity when use Gmail especially when handling tons of mail required CC/BCC and better (bigger) pop out separate window when composing email. Also designer keep forward update the (bug) on the extension whenever Google did too creative added something additional function. Thank you !
- (2022-11-22) boydta1: This may be a little premature, but after only 6 mins this is my favorite extension! Prior to finding this one, I used an extension from another developer. It was just ok; that one requires the end-user to jump through a few hoops and did not work some of the time. This one starts working immediately and actually seems faster than the one I used before. Thank you!
- (2022-11-02) Nathan Davies: This is awesome! Would it possible to add the ability to scroll to the top of the email window when "reply" is clicked?
- (2022-10-20) Looks like the 10/16/22 update momentarily fixed the extensions compatibility with the reading pane, but it is back to not popping out again. Any ideas?
- (2022-10-13) Tia Nagler CA-Grass Valley: It has been working great until this week. Suddenly it no longer pops out the email, which is quite frustrating because Gmail makes it so inconvenient when it doesn't pop out. I removed the extension then re-added it, closed and re-opened Chrome / Google, checked the options in the extension to make sure they were still check marked correctly, and it still is not working.
- (2022-08-26) Kevin Yoon: Great, does as described. Cheers mate
- (2022-08-19) Sushil Goyal: This is buggy. When I enable both CC and BCC it does not show CC below the To but shows BCC. If I disable BCC then it shows CC below To. Please fix this ASAP.
- (2022-08-16) Nikki Chiu: Thanks for the great update. However, there are still some bugs exist... include: 1/ the pop up window kept prompt it out even press window close. This will make the draft mail can not save... since you can not close the window 2/ the email address can not move... we can directly move the email address from "To" to "BCC / CC" directly on before... however, it can not move it anymore... you need to copy it and paste it.... It will be great if the team fixed those minor points. Thank you.
- (2022-08-12) AJ Mackey: Thank you so much for the Extension and the AMAZING level of support & communication! It was kind of buggy the past few weeks, but now it working perfectly! Thank you :-D
- (2022-08-11) E. Wall: I realize this is a free extension so beggars can't be choosers. Just wondering if you guy's have any plans on making it work again or should I just remove it and forget about it? It was great while it lasted. Thanks, Ed
- (2022-08-06) DOT: Such a life saver, especially the empty subject line warning. GET THIS EXTENSION!
- (2022-02-23) Jittery Joe's: Great tool, thank you! Is there way to fix the extension that when you press the X in the top right of the email draft the where the extension does not continue to spam open until you press the garbage button in the bottom right to discard the draft?
- (2021-12-22) Paula Shuler: Great extension to make the work-life of Gmail better.
- (2021-10-27) Sarah Kobulnicky: I loved this extension from Jan to 10/22/2021, but now it doesn't seem to work. Was there a recent Gmail update that broke it? When composing an email, the To, CC, and BCC fields are visible if you click on them, but then they collapse when typing the email.
- (2021-08-20) TJ: It worked on the first email I tried, then stopped working on any of them. Bummer, cuz I would have liked to have used it.
- (2021-08-06) Stormer Yttri: I was using a similar extension for a few years (Gmelius) but a few months ago, they decided to kick everyone off their platform if they didn't pay for a subscription. I had actually paid for it about 5 years ago but now subscription based only and BCC auto pop out was the only feature I used. Anyway......I am very happy I ran into your extension. It works as advertised BUT, I had to shut it down...hopefully short term. It seems that this extension turns off my Send and Archive feature in Gmail. I use this function a lot and am finding it unwieldy to have my inbox bloat because I cannot choose to send AND archive with one keystroke. Hopefully you can fix this so I can get back to using your extension. I may have to turn it back on anyway because it is a feature that I have become sooooo accustomed to over the years. But, at the same time, I have become accustomed to send and archive as well. Its a coin toss right now.
- (2021-07-05) Søren Grammel: Awesome. Great help. Only my chiropractor is annoyed because now I don't have to have my head straightened from the bottom right back to the middle of my neck once a week (honestly, does anyone know the reason Google thinks the little chat-style window on the bottom right is a good solution?).
- (2021-06-05) Tyler Harris: FINALLY! This extension saves me so much hassle and time from having to click pop-out, full size, then the three dots to see the last message chain of text each time. Thank you!!
- (2021-05-16) Andro Meskhoradze: Super 10/10 recommend to add screenshot for more understandable
- (2021-04-13) Danielle Whigham: This extension continuously glitches. It only works as advertised about 1/5 of the time. The rest of the time only one or two of it's multiple functions work. EXTREMELY frustrating and time consuming. The ONLY reason I have it still as an extension is because it is the only one available and it very occasionally works.
- (2021-04-12) Cat Moure: SUPER helpful and works great. After a recent Chrome update it was working a little wonky and the developer was quick to fix the issues, and to even reply on their support page and explain troubleshooting/when fixes were made. 10/10, this extension is amazing.
- (2021-04-08) Byron Cohen: New issue occurred as of the April 2021 that the width of the compose window no longer stays at 100% when zooming in.
- (2021-04-08) Naturehike B: AMAZING App and AMAZING customer support. I had an issue and the developer took time out of his schedule to google meet me and resolve the issue! WOW! That is cool. The app helps me since I often forward emails and change the subject and CC and BCC people. I am used to Yahoo email and Gmail is very different, this app closes the gap. I like a full screen view and this app does that automatically. So convenient. Thank you Platform Software, YOU ARE AWESOME!
- (2021-04-07) Amanda Wanner: I've used this extension for over a year and I love it. It greatly streamlines and speeds up the way I use Gmail for Work. I spend a large part of my work day writing and replying to email and it saves me ALL THE CLICKS.
- (2021-04-06) Chad Lott: Does exactly what I need but, a few days ago it started preventing me from dragging recipients between the TO, CC, BCC fields. Initially it worked fine but it has recently locked the recipients in place. If I turn the extension off, I have no problem dragging the email addresses between the fields.
- (2021-04-06) Brett Cherry: If I could have only one Chrome extension, this would be it! I've been using the Gmail Auto Pop Out for a year now and it has truly revolutionized my Gmail experience. I reply to a lot of emails at work and this finally corrects everything I had always wished Gmail would do when I hit reply, reply all, or forward. As others have mentioned, Google really needs to adopt this as an option in settings. I was unable to utilize it for a while today and it reminded me how fantastic and desperately needed this application is for me. A huge thank you and please keep this extension active forever!
- (2021-04-04) Volkan Akin: This extension works great, The new version opens the emails in new window as well. So much helpful. Saving my time...
- (2021-03-31) Narissa Hill: Works great. Exactly what I needed. Thanks!
- (2021-03-26) Sev: Nice extension! Can you summarize what information/usage data the extension collects?
- (2021-02-04) Aron R. Croft: Finally! I can edit subject fields when forwarding to evernote, etc.
