SecureConnect is a Chrome extension that uploads lightweight device-state information to Google.
The SecureConnect Native Helper must also be installed on the machine for the reporting to work properly. A link for the native helper download can be found in the Chrome extension.
The uploaded device information include:
* OS type
* OS version
* Serial Number
* Whether or not screen lock is enabled on the machine
* Whether or not the disk is encrypted

- This might be the worst thing to ever exist. Even uninstalling this extension is a hassle. Setting up a new laptop and I can't even access gmail. There's more that I want to say, but I'd get in trouble if I told my true feelings on a public forum.

- Recently, every time after I logged in my account on my macOS, there's a yellow exclamation mark on the icon. And it says "SecureConnect Reporting requires you to be logged into your work or school account." Guess what? I don't have the access to my email and calendar.
