Pin the extension, click on the extension icon in the toolbar, input your vehicle data, and your fuel costs will appear below driving distances in Google Maps.

- (2025-03-20) Bill Kotsias: Looks promising, but I am not sure if it's taking into account expected vehicle speed - I presume not? Fuel consumption should be different when driving 10 kms in the city compared to 10 kms on the highway.

- (2024-06-16) Stephen Perry: Works great but currently only works on maps.google.com rather than the regional versions e.g. maps.google.co.uk - have suggested this small improvement to the devloper
- (2024-04-11) Max Risher: Simple yet helpful. This chrome extension made me realize that it would be cheaper to just fly between Colorado and Alabama and rent a car rather than to drive between them. This saved me about four days of driving and a couple hundred dollars.
