In content script, use mutation observer to detect when ad is playing on YouTube. Then, set videos to muted.

- When we click on any new video it will not mute ads instead youtube detects you are using some kind of adblocker & later when we are in middle of video if ads comes then ads will be muted so when any new video we open in new tab it wont mute video & gets detected & when we are watching videos if any ads appear it succesfully mutes them , i think you need to make sure first ads dont trigger youtube warnings ........

- Worked for a day or so but now it's muting the entire youtube video. Would be a great extension if this was fixed.

- I love it. It has some problems unmuting once the ad is over but this extension changed my experiance of youtube and the creators probably still get their money..

- If a video has an ad in the middle, the ad will mute it and then the video will be muted too and you gotta reload to get the audio back. It functions correctly for ads before the video though - the video doesn't get muted afterwards.

- Works fine until recently. Ads are sometimes muted but don't unmute after skipping. Right clicking video also mutes video. Persists after reinstalling the extension.

- This was working perfectly for me until a week or two back. Hopefully will be fixed in the future. Handy because it doesn't trigger objections by youtube.

- Using this since Youtube is cracking down hard on adblockers. This kinda works, you still get a solid second of cancer from each ad before it mutes it. Better than nothing I suppose

- It works. Takes a second to activate after an ad starts which is fine. Works well with an ad skipper. One issue: I think when internet conditions are strained, ads don't load into the player properly but the actual video will mute thinking the ad is playing. Eventually the ad might play, but your video will be muted until then. This has only been an issue once for me.
