  • (2025-06-14) Christian Sy: Works well and suspends tabs without you having to do it
  • (2025-06-14) Jonathan C: It closes the ACTIVE tab even though I have told it not to. Sometimes I'm reading a page and slowly scrolling down and suddenly it gets suspended.
  • (2025-06-12) Volker Piasta: Does not work well. Although it is set to not suspend active tabs, it does so anyway, often while I am typing a comment which then gets lost. This is very unsettling especially if I have been at it for a while and lose a lot of text. Uninstalling.
  • (2025-06-05) W i: This plug-in is disgusting and has a serious bug: close the browser and open it after a while, it will copy all the tabs, too confusing
  • (2025-06-04) Jay Young: Not a good tab suspender. When I click on a tab that had been suspended, it will frequently go to a page that I had navigated away from some time ago, and when I click the back button to try to get back to where I had most recently navigated to, it just takes me back to a suspended page. This is a regular problem. In addition, the extension will sometimes just randomly suspend several tabs at once, well before the interval of inactivity I put in the settings. There are better tab suspender extensions out there.
  • (2025-05-27) Євгеній Богданець: The current tab is usually suspended, even if you set the flag not to suspend the current open tab.
  • (2025-05-26) Laskar Pangeran: the lightweight of tab suspender
  • (2025-05-24) Собственность: Very good suspender work faster and more carefully then others. Perfect compabillity with other extensions
  • (2025-05-23) Godz Fire3 (GodzFire): Unfortunately not auto unsuspending when switching to a new page even with the option selected.
  • (2025-05-22) mohamed asfar: not working
  • (2025-05-12) Andy Rozhylo: Just perfect! Same as The Great Suspender was. Thank you!
  • (2025-04-29) Emeka Orji: Don't use this extension when you have a lot of important tabs open. It'll mess up your whole workflow. Don't recommend. The original tab suspender extension (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/tab-suspender/fiabciakcmgepblmdkmemdbbkilneeeh) is by far the best out there.
  • (2025-04-26) Qanea van Gogh: It has everything I expected it to have except one problem, just maybe when setting shortcuts make sure the shortcuts already in use by chrome should give a warning or sth. Then override it. Right now for example when I set ctrl+t for suspending tabs, it just doesn't do anything. When I remove the shortcut, it becomes new tab again by default. Beside this I'm pretty satisfied.
  • (2025-04-20) Veeresh Devireddy: Please explain me why this extension needs the permission for "Read and change all data on all websites"? Also, after suspending the tab, when clicked, I am getting this error: "laameccjpleogmfhilmffpdbiibgbekf is blocked This page has been blocked by Chrome. ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT". Can you fix it?
  • (2025-04-20) Aran Pasupathy: After Google removed The Marvellous Suspender from the Chrome web store, I tried Tab Suspender along with a few other tab suspenders and found Tab Suspender to work flawlessly with no issues. It provides users with the option of pausing tab suspension for a given tab(s) which The Marvellous Suspender lacked and most importantly, it achieves the end goal of reducing RAM consumption by a sufficient amount when multiple tabs are open. I would highly recommend this extension to any user who frequently opens multiple tabs while browsing the internet using Google Chrome.
  • (2025-04-19) Taufiq Prasetyo: Find this very useful in my work scenario!
  • (2025-04-18) Mohammed Ali: very good
  • (2025-04-09) aiydan blue: very good. does what it says
  • (2025-04-07) Jeron Diovis: Garbage. Randomly crashes on regular basis – time to time you see extension became inactive in current tab, just because, and only way to reactivate it is to close this tab and open new one. Constantly spams errors and some random logs in console, which as developer is very annoying. No benefits over other solutions whatsoever. Don't use it.
  • (2025-04-04) Ratul Shams: Awesome extension but a major bug occurring recently on Edge. The Extension does not open when clicked.
  • (2025-04-04) Paul Logan Miller: Does everything the Great Suspender does. Big win.
  • (2025-03-31) ABRAHAM AGBUGUI: Top notch!!!!!!
  • (2025-03-29) Felix Rodriguez: On closing Chrome, the extension unsuspends everything. On my system and number of tabs, it takes 5+ minutes for the close to finally take effect. It happens every single time.
  • (2025-03-27) James Sundermeyer: If I have different chrome windows open with different tabs suspended and I put my PC to sleep and then wake it up, tabs are then all put into 1 window in random orders and sometimes some tabs are missing. Sometimes "suspend all other tabs" option just doesn't work at all.
  • (2025-03-25) neel sheth: Suspends tab even if video is playing. I have selected not to suspend tab if it is active in window. Despite that, It suspended the tab I was browsing.
  • (2025-03-18) Gregory Kauwe: I really had no complaints until another reviewer reminded me that sometimes it suspends while typing a long chat in a popup or chat box. I just upped my minutes and adjusted other settings for active tabs, audio or unsaved form inputs. Odd suspensions hadn't happened with google docs or anything yet for me or with a reddit post, for example. I always have 60 or more tabs open and it really helps, now that it's compliant. One other feature that another extension had that was useful was that the suspend page was opaque or transparent so that the page can be read before you unsuspend it. That was a helpful feature in a deprecated one.
  • (2025-03-13) Justin Moore: It suspends tabs. But none of the settings change anything. Yes, you can check the box, but it doesn't matter. There is also a place to add whitelisted sites, but it won't allow you to add them. You just type the address and nothing happens.
  • (2025-03-12) Ran Cohen: Suspends good and saves memory!
  • (2025-03-07) Harish Ghasolia: I'm not sure if they collect user data or not, but this extension works really well. The suspended screen looks nice with a timer, and it saves a lot of my computer's memory. It's a really helpful extension for people like me who usually have multiple tabs open. There's an issue with this extension: every time I close my browser, all suspended tabs get unsuspended, and I have to resuspend them manually. This happens every time I close the browser. Please fix it.
  • (2025-02-20) Alter Moonspell: Sometimes it suspend active tab, annoying, need fix.
  • (2025-02-19) Jacinto Gómez: Recently an extension stopped working so I tried this one. It is really the best tab suspender right now.
  • (2025-02-09) Eric Thomas: Excellent, I tried many and it's by far the best extension. To make it even better, I suggest to be able to edit the whitelist and to be able, if needed, to take a snapshot of the page before suspending, but congratulations, you did almost the perfect one. Forgive my English as I am French (not the opposite). And the UI design is great, not like some others...
  • (2025-02-02) Marton Gombos: Would be good, but when I'm reading something and it suddenly disappears because it gets suspended is pretty annoying. Mac os 15.2, M1 air, Brave.
  • (2024-11-20) Devon_164: This extension is worse than malware and the people who made it should be banned from ever being within 50 feet of a computer. I tried to suspend all tabs to see how it works, but it just kept trying to close them every couple of minutes after I opened them again. The constant opening and closing made my laptop heat up, so I made sure all my tabs were back, then I removed the extension. Right as I did that, the tabs went inactive again and I lost everything. I lost somewhere around 100 tabs to this. It does the complete opposite of everything you would want it to do. WORST EXTENSION EVER.
  • (2024-10-31) Roland J: Really liking this so far. I appreciate all of the thought that the developer clearly put into this. It's well designed. Due to all of the tabs a videos, my browser was using over 10 GB of RAM. After install ing this it dropped all the way down to 3.2 GB! Really impressed, please don't stop development of this. Thank you very much for developing this.
  • (2024-10-06) wa da: Bad design. Just make tabs sleep instead of creating a suspend page. It will cause tab unrecoverable in cases
  • (2024-08-17) franksodre: it has a lot of interesting features and options for everyone, it really is a good product.
  • (2024-07-27) Anand Pande: Works well when it comes to suspending the tabs. But, it misbehaves when the browser that has multiple suspended tabs is closed and reopened later. Upon reopening, the suspended tabs are all duplicated and distributed randomly amongst other tabs. Removing this extension.
  • (2024-06-02) Johnny Dragovic: the extension is great but context menu is too long make it shorter
  • (2024-04-23) Vidyut Gore: Great app, as long as you don't use YouTube. It makes paused YouTube videos start playing at once, every few minutes, so you have to keep scrambling to stop them over and over. When I get some twenty tabs suddenly start playing, I'm done. I can't keep muting them all. Took me a long time to realise this extension was causing it. Makes the browser completely unusable and will probably get you in trouble where you can't disturb others. And it isn't a one off - it will keep happening regularly - ALL tabs with YouTube videos will keep playing automatically at the same time every few minutes. Turns into a mad house.
  • (2024-03-16) Vincent De Cat: was trying to suspend it temporarily but no, the app continues to suspend tabs. so uninstalling

  • (2024-03-15) Leo Ma: The tabs I have active are getting suspended even though I set them to not suspend. That means as I'm scrolling on a page the page would just randomly suspend
  • (2024-03-05) 霜月: Stop using it now! it will copy all your tabs endlessly and kill your machine
  • (2024-03-04) Ахмет Салимов: Работает хорошо !
  • (2024-03-04) Pranav Pagar: Great product, I really liked the Keyboard key mapping functionality

  • (2024-03-01) Peter Wolfe: New-to-me tab suspender extension. LOVE it. I had it set too fast. I went to change that and found I can set "never suspend with unsaved inputs"?! You mean that YT comment I lost not 15 minutes ago could've been saved without sacrificing the automatic tab suspending necessary on such a low resource (<GB RAM with Win11) employer's machine?! Sign me up! Automatic disabling any kind of tracking? Hell yes!

  • (2024-02-12) ً: Probably the best Tab Suspender extension I've personally used and I haven't encountered any issues (such as website blocking and high CPU usage) at all.
