Unlock Google Drive's Potential For Music. DriveTunes allows you to play mp3 and m4a audio files right from Google Drive. Queue and listen to music in Drive, rather than just previewing it.
Additional features include:
- Search through all songs on your Drive
- Randomly select songs with shuffle
- Order songs by title or number of plays
- Play songs from specific folders
The next version of Drivetunes will support Ogg and FLAC! It is unlikely that we will be able to support WMA due to its proprietary nature.

- It's perfect except you can't add songs to playlists. If you could have playlists it would be better. Even better is if the playlists were saved to the cloud.

- For a free app, this app is pretty great. Problems I've noticed: 1. it used to be really hard to get it to connect to Google Drive. This seems to be resolved now, and may have just been my account (?) 2. if .mp3 filenames have a period "." in them, the app treats that as the end of the name of the file. So "[artist] feat. [singer] - [track].mp3" is shown as "[arist] feat" because it cuts it off after the first period Thanks for making this app available, it is nice to use.

- I don't like being FORCED to use an app when I already have one pre-installed that works amazingly well. Add to that it wants access to everything and it's even more reason to bloody hate this useless app.

- Sucks all around. Website doesn't scroll with two-fingers on pad, no scroll bar. I had to zoom out to see the few files it did find. Doesn't show all the music. Never figured out why. They are my files not shared. Doesn't do Shared Folders. Really!!!?!?!?!?

- It could be better. I noticed only on mixtapes or music I downloaded from sites work, the mp3 songs/singles I download from youtube or etc. doesn't even pop up. Another (small) thing is when looking at tracks the names are all lowercase, nothing big but it bugs me because it doesn't display it the way I typed it in my file and it looks disorganized that way.

- Due to lack up developer updates and API issues, DriveTunes.org has not worked since April 1, 2016. The developers have not posted updates about the progress of their error fixes. The life of this app may have come to an end. I hope a smart developer develops a replacement app that will read user's music from Google Drive for free.
