Our YouGov Chrome extension allows our Panel members to earn points by securely sharing their streaming history with us on a regular basis as well as other account-based web activities.

- Used to work. but now it's add an extension, but I already have it, so I remove it. Then it wants me to add it back. No atter what I do I can't use it as it only will ask me to add the extension to Chrome.

- useless, it gets to about 9-10 percent and then "oops something went wrong" every single time i try to upload data for any site. on google it says my data is unacceptable, what the heck does that mean? so far this thing has been a joke and i've seen absolutely no points for any data i have uploaded. removing till its fixed or just removing permanently since its a joke.

- Your Apple Tv+ connection is not working via safe, you guys keep updating and updating and each update Apple Tv remains the same, No active subscription found like seriously i have an active subscription I'm using and yet getting the same error after your so called update which makes me to believe your engineers aren't doing nothing but eating fat geez

- This is rubbish. It has taken months of toing and froing with YouGov's so-called-customer-service and it's STILL not working. On their advice I have I have uninstalled and reinstalled the extension, cleared my history and cache, tried it on different devices. I still get the annoying "oops" message every time I try to connect to Amazon, and not even immediately, it's after five minutes of it connecting and getting to 70% and wasting my time before it fails! I can cope with something not working, it's when customer service (a) take months to respond and then (b) keep telling me that it's my fault that it's not working when it plainly isn't that I get annoyed!

- Appaling app. Takes forever to download - hwen is works at all. Why can't users setup a sequence of updates to be done and let the software do the rest? This app reminds me of the 1980's when things frequntly broke but then it was new the internet was very fragile. Buy now even school kids could do better ! Given this is suposedly yougov software it acts like a 5 year olds first go at coding. TOTAL RUBISH

- POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT. The "Connections Hub" offers extra points for uploading your streaming, browsing, and banking history every week but hasn't been working for over a month now. Even when it IS working there are constant glitches. Submit a request for support? HAH!!! You either get no response at all or you get instructed to make sure you are connected to the internet and have active subscriptions to the streaming services. One of my requests for support received a response in German!!!!! So no support, connections hub doesn't work, and yet I get weekly emails encouraging me to upload my streaming history to earn extra points!!! Not worth the effort.

- YouGov are idiots for not fixing their site to enable easy installation of extension into Edge, despite it being a chromium browser. Changing the user-agent string for YouGov to mimic Chrome enables link-through to the extension and installation into Edge. As for YouGov and their ability to lock accounts but never unlock because they don't realise or admit they made errors... oof.

- cant do anything install it click connect doesnt work then tells you to install the extension - ive tried it 5 times now installing uninstalling reinstalling - worst thing i've ever had to use - if you want people to share then make sure it works

- Absolute garbage. I was willing to do Netflix, but it never connects. It's laughable to think I'd give ANYONE access to my bank account data lol.

- Site is garbage. Customer service representatives are clueless. You Gov Connections does not work properly. These idiots take weeks to reply to emails and do nothing to fix their error ridden site.

- I have been a YouGov member for 8+ years with 2,100+ surveys taken and this extension has had problems since June 2024 with YouTube and browser history uploads. Bank history and ChatGPT uploads also do not work as I was locked out of my YouGov account on 12/17/24. I have screenshots of my YouTube history and internet speed showing the problem is not on my end. I asked YouGov for compensation and they declined on 9/17/24 saying: "We will reach out to you shortly with a solution." I have sent replies on 9/17/24, 10/1/24, 10/3/24, 10/15/24, 10/21/24, 11/3/24, 11/6/24, 11/9/24, 11/21/24, 12/7/24, 12/17/24, 12/18/24, 12/22/24, 12/23/24, 1/6/25, 1/14/25, 3/4/25 (twice), and 3/5/25 with no response. Also, I filed a BBB complaint against YouGov on 1/14/25 and have not received any response, even though six more recent ones have. My complaint is only the fourth ever to not receive any response. I demand an immediate response to my BBB complaint, an email response with answers to all of my questions and a formal explanation and apology, that my account be immediately unlocked and access to YouGov Safe restored without having to complete "ID verification", that the "ID verification" task be removed, that I immediately resume receiving surveys, and that at least 100,000 points be immediately credited to my account for not being able to use YouGov Safe since June 2024.

- They've disabled my account after 11 years of having an account with them, Safe doesn't work anyway. Data thieves, never trust YouGov... ever!

- I feel that the reason people feel that site does not work is simply because they are not aware that there is also a YouGov.com website that is connected to the extension. Other than that I think if they new this they would feel the same as I do, I love this site! It does exactly what they say they will do you can take surveys that are not lengthy like other survey sites, YouGov keeps theirs short and simple and you earn points for taking them, as well as you earn points for you data when connecting it as an extension, and n return you can exchange those points for gift cards and they have a lot of gift cards to chose from. IT IS DEFFINATELY NOT A WASTE OF TIME, IT IS THE BEST SURVEY SITE I FOUND YET!

- Pulls steam data without issues, sometimes amazon video and shopping has issues. Youtube view history NEVER works. I am not clearing my view history just for YouGov as I do not want to have to rebuild my youtube profile.

- Generally OK but won't record my browsing history. I reported it and eventually was told to re-install the Safe extension. I did, twice. Same result. Waiting for the next fatuous email telling me to reinstall the extension. Useless.

- I've written to them numerous times about not being able to record Amazon and Youtube data, and I've done everything they told me. But it still doesn't work. So I'm done trying.

- This is great when it works. Constantly have problems with loading Amazon data and banking data.. Trying to get this resolved is always a problem Takes a long time to get help and then the solutions rarely work.

- Doesn't function on Amazon UK - endlessly reinitialises its dialogue pseudo-window, and refreshes the tab. Takes an inordinate amount of time to synchronise with YouTube. Isn't available for Firefox.

- It's not enough that YouGov doesn't send out surveys on a daily basis; if it were possible to not give this app any stars, I'd definitely take that option because it doesn't even deserve this one star. What's the point of having this extension if there's always going to be an error message when trying to accumulate points from YouTube and browser history? Furthermore, I've sent an email about a week ago regarding this issue, and I STILL haven't received a response. This is unacceptable, and I wish you would give us free points for our troubles. Either get this fixed in a timely fashion or risk losing your survey takers.
