Description from store

The Cloud Library allows you to borrow and read eBooks and eAudiobooks from your local public library for free. Your library needs to subscribe to the service and you will need your library card and PIN (if required) to access the content.

This application makes it easier than ever to find eBooks or Audiobooks from your local public library. This app includes a fully functional reader allowing the user to read their ebook directly in the app, as well as bookmark and save the position of their book across devices. It also includes an Audiobook player, allowing the user to download, play and listen to their books offline.

***Note: If this is the first application installed on your device with the App Runtime for Chrome, the Runtime will be installed automatically and will add to the time required to download and install all components. If the App Runtime for Chrome has been installed previously for other applications, the installation time will be reduced accordingly***

App launches but doesn't do or display anything other than the CL graphic in the middle of the screen. There is no menu, no response to R click, nothing. Totally and completely not working.

The first time I went on it was kinda good, but, the second time I went on it, it immediately crashed and it hasn't worked ever since. They really have fix all the glitches in their website so people can enjoy it more >:(

I have this app on my android and it works great. sometimes my audio books stop randomly or won't work, but if you return them and then check them out again it normally fixes it. i dont really use it for e-books ( i prefer real paper) but it works well for audio books!

Not enough (any?) instructions for use. Users actually matter so treat us right.

Very few controls when reading on a chromebook. The type size was adjustable. Seems to be stable. No bookmarks or other features that I could find.

Installed, associated with my local library. Books come up. Check out a couple. Try to download them. "Adobe Fulfillment Error. No internet connection is available." Surprise, I am typing this review on the internet. After an hour of searching for a solution, I give up on this product.

After installation, I was able to open and use it. But just as others said, it needs visible buttons for page turning and searching option. Bigger problem is: second time I tried to open it, it crashed right away. Hasn't been working ever since the crash down

Cloud Library does not work on tablets with Android 4, so I no longer have a device that will read ebooks from HB Library in comfort.

The app is barely adequate for reading. It needs visible or physical buttons for page turning on larger screens and a recode to work with modern reading devices. Things like the intrusive bookmarks and "Do you want to download a dictionary?" should be buried in the settings menu, not appear when your hand accidentally rests on the text. The book selection is mediocr. It seems to be designed to urge people to carry around clumsy antique physical manifestations of llimifes sets of ideas. The audio book collection is worse. The descriptions of the books and recordings are abysmal. It makes absolutely no sense to put one-liner revie quotes for books in a book listing rather than summaries of what they are. It's as if they had to be paid by the word to advertising space ON THE INTERNET. The only thing that is more frustrating than getting two chapters into a story and then recalling that you've read it before, is finishing a ten year old novella that is the first of three that compose one book AND finding that the libraries have no copies of the other 2 in their collections. I don'want a reviewers opinion, I would like to know approximately what a particular book is about, so that if I have read it before, I don't check it out again. When I read something I remember storylines and characterizarions, but not fictional characters names. I read at least hundred novels each year. Unless they span a series or are unique and interesting characters, not generic plot fillers, they arent around long enough to warrant long term storage.

launched once. now it does not.

I can't figure out how to scroll down to view more books in the library when in the 'browse' mode. Occasionally using the arrow keys works; but not always, and there's no visible scroll bar. Maybe I'm just missing something?
