Remover elementos de rastreamento dos URLs.

Image from store ClearURLs
Description from store This extension will automatically remove tracking elements from URLs to help protect your privacy when browse through the Internet. Many websites use tracking elements in the URL (e.g. https://example.com?utm_source=newsletter1&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=sale) to mark your online activity. All that tracking code is not necessary for a website to be displayed or work correctly and can therefore be removed—that is exactly what ClearURLs does. Another common example are Amazon URLs. If you search for a product on Amazon you will see a very long URL, such as: https://www.amazon.com/dp/exampleProduct/ref=sxin_0_pb?__mk_de_DE=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=tea&pd_rd_i=exampleProduct&pd_rd_r=8d39e4cd-1e4f-43db-b6e7-72e969a84aa5&pd_rd_w=1pcKM&pd_rd_wg=hYrNl&pf_rd_p=50bbfd25-5ef7-41a2-68d6-74d854b30e30&pf_rd_r=0GMWD0YYKA7XFGX55ADP&qid=1517757263&rnid=2914120011 Indeed most of the above URL is tracking code. Once ClearURLs has cleaned the address, it will look like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/exampleProduct All functions in a nutshell * Removes tracking from URLs automatically in the background * Blocks some common ad domains (optional) * Has a built-in tool to clean up multiple URLs at once * Supports redirection to the destination, without tracking services as middleman * Adds an entry to the context menu so that links can be copied quickly and cleanly * Blocks hyperlink auditing, also known as ping tracking * Prevents tracking injection over history API * Prevents Google from rewriting the search results (to include tracking elements) * Prevents Yandex from rewriting the search results (to include tracking elements) * Badgeds to show the currently blocked elements * Supports optional logging * Supports export/import of settings * Has a donate button

This not only effects chrome browser but every other browser except firefox based browsers that runs on chromium engine. Good luck chrome and RIP dev. ================================================================================= Update - Requesting Dev to update it ASAP since it doesn't work anymore in chromium browsers and chrome will disable and remove it post MV3 thing happens. Works but only half-heartedly. Creates big issues when logging in with several sites and esp., with google sites and where google login is present. Plus a lot of sites detect this as adblocker so either I have disable this or leave that site. I don't know why dev hasn't provided any whitelist or blacklist option. Waiting for better update in 2023.
  • (2024-05-08) Na Me: Works well but also breaks sorting results by price on Amazon (falls back to initial view immediately after changing it)
  • (2023-10-30) n ascentt: I love this addon as it's clears up the urls on sites, however as others state (and it took me ages to identify this addon as the culprit) - this addon breaks google OAuth. now i know i can keep disabling this addon every time it causes issues, although that's annoying. up to now it's broken auth on many services and apps as I had no idea this was the culprit. As it looks like people have been reporting this issue for a year, it seems the addon has been abandoned? I've logged an issue on the github and posted to their twitter, hopefully someone finds a fix
  • (2023-10-29) Apple Strumdoodle: I very much wanted to like this but it breaks OAuth2 authorization for Google accounts. Can't have that. Maybe next release will fix this so because of the developer's obvious good intentions I'll give it 2 stars instead of one.
  • (2023-10-22) Alex Shevchenko: Enabling this extension can cause OAuth2 authorization issues with Google accounts due to tracking data clearance. This may result in failed authorization with a 401 error. Exercise caution. P.s. Examples of OAuth2 usage include using a Google account for authorization to access Google Drive or using a Facebook account for authorization to access third-party developer applications.
  • (2023-10-07) Colin Stuart: This addon doesn't do anything, never removes anything from any URL. Useless.
  • (2023-09-11) ScorpionHaze: I had a different experience from some recent reviews, no breakages at all. Works very smoothly, also speeds up my browsing to some extent. I see it don't get updates very often, but still very functional, i'd suggest anyone to give it a go. It's a nice addition to any adblock, since clearurls has some exclusive features.
  • (2023-08-29) Chris Heinzelmann: This extension breaks the redirects of ad results on the Google search result page. When you click on an ad result, the page does not load. This is very frustrating when you actually want to get to that page. It took me some time to realise that this extension is responsible for that behaviour
  • (2023-08-18) Rob Haughey: Like other reviewers here, I like what it does but having it enabled by default breaks too many things. To be useful It needs a URL whitelist feature which has been requested for years (ref github) but developer has not added. I will make a note to check back in 12 months and if whitelist as added then change my rating to 5 stars. (Ref. https://github.com/ClearURLs/Addon/issues/93#issuecomment-1111052855 )

  • (2023-08-13) Elijah Wolf: Like many others, I diagnosed a problem with authenticating to Google and found this extension to be the problem. When at the oAuth consent screen to authorise an app to access your account, it throws a generic "Something went wrong" error on screen. For the tech-savvy users, it appears the extension mangles the f.req value in the request, prompting Google to return 401 Unauthorized. It's a shame because I liked what the extension did, but I can't be dealing with login problems like this. Goodbye for now ClearURLs!
  • (2023-08-09) Frédéric Harper: Works well, but prevent using Google Account as SSO for other services.
  • (2023-05-14) Yitzi Ginzberg: As a privacy extension, you should probably explain why you need "manage downloads" permission.
  • (2023-05-02) James Kimbley: There is a significant problem with this extension that breaks SSO with Google Accounts. If you try to login to a webservice with your Google Account and you see "Something went wrong. Sorry, something went wrong there. Please try again" disable or uninstall this extension.
  • (2023-03-27) Hexagon A: I used to use ClearURLs but now uBlock Origin also supports removing parameters! I will use uBlock Origin instead! With uBlock Origin, you can have allowlist and add your own parameters! However, ClearURLs still has some other features that you may be interested in: 1. Filters ETag headers from requests 2. Prevent tracking injection over history API 3. Block hyperlink auditing
  • (2023-03-26) Liran Barsisa: Breaks some websites without the ability to exclude it. Example is Firebase "App Distribution" page, which it ruins its ability to just download APK files.
  • (2023-03-16) Ata: Needs a whitelist feature
  • (2023-03-13) Icez: Break Google Log in
  • (2023-02-16) Jeremy Wong: As someone else has also noted, this extension breaks Google Oauth sign-in - I started seeing 'Something went wrong' errors in the Oauth sign in flow for all sorts of things (Google Drive desktop app etc). Hope this can get fixed!
  • (2023-01-17) sakanaja: Googleアカウントの認証に失敗する この拡張機能をオフにしたら成功した
  • (2023-01-13) tom mike: 清理后链接会产生很多问题 要是发现手机可以访问电脑无法访问建议卸载
  • (2022-12-31) Jonathan Sumalia: A simple basic feature, "whitelisting a website", doesn't even have it! Google trends break :/
  • (2022-12-03) Hana: it's hit or miss for me, i can go to amazon for example and click on some items and they will have the full url string but going back 5 minutes later and all of the urls are clean.
  • (2022-11-28) Spencer Mathews: Excellent extension, but lacks a whitelist or any other configurability for when it breaks sites.
  • (2022-10-18) Donna Woods: I kind of forgot I had installed this until it started causing problems in Amazon. I could not go through checkout without an error and had to open Edge to complete my order. Also gave me errors in a survey page on Amazon. Otherwise I haven't checked about tracking, but this is a big nuisance.
  • (2022-10-08) yotta117: Funciona perfecto sin hacer nada
  • (2022-10-05) Michael: The extension technically works but the rule sets are nowhere near comprehensive enough. Most websites I visit still have lots of tracking elements in the URL. Unless there's a group of dedicated individuals committed to maintaining comprehensive rule sets (like with adblockers), unfortunately extensions like these will never be very useful.
  • (2022-09-13) Lewis Dexter Litanzios: 👋 Thanks for software Should it work on this [URL]?: * If yes, and it does work, then can someone kindly tell me why it's working for you and not me * If no, and it doesn't work, then can someone tell me why (ebay.co.uk is a pretty common domain) or suggest where I can make a feature request If I receive a reply then I'll reconsider my rating Yours hopefully [URL]: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255722030729?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l1120&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=c7622aed70ed48c69620b70d3985196f&bu=43110009856&ut=RU&exe=102358&ext=240834&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20220913073507&segname=11021
  • (2022-09-11) Crystal Identity: I really, really wanted to like this. Unfortunately, when I put in a long, annoying URL with lots of tracking code junk at the end, it only removed a little bit of it. Most of it still remained attached! I ended up removing this app, as it was of no use to me. I Googled to find a site that can do this one simple thing. I'm happy with URLClean.com which does exactly what it says on the tin.
  • (2022-08-24) Bryce Haymond: I liked this extension until today when I found that it was disrupting Google OAuth logins, causing them to fail with an error "Something went wrong...". It took me many hours to diagnose that it was this extension that was causing the problem, including chatting with Google Support, but once I disabled this extension, the Google OAuth logins work again. If the developers can fix this problem, I may use the extension again.
  • (2022-08-24) Jack Gray (Fixxxer): This addon breaks OAuth from Google
  • (2022-07-29) John Philip: The icon appears in the toolbar but goes away if I try to click on it. What's the use of having it if I cannot use it or even access it???

  • (2022-01-26) bot1212 aaa: it only works sometimes, and sometimes does what it claims to do. times where it not works: youtube urls - the normal URL be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ?ab_channel=RickAstley but it doesnt alter the url to a shorter version, www.youtube.com/v/dQw4w9WgXcQ i know this is technichly not a tracking element but it would still be a nice addition also if you use opera, the altered google search url is https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=never+gonna+give+you+up&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 and not https://www.google.com/search?q=never+gonna+give+you+up like its supposed to be. please update the extention
  • (2022-01-25) teran: Поиск на yandex.ru из-за этого адекватно не работает на Chromium браузерах. На браузере Firefox такой проблемы нет
  • (2022-01-16) Виктор Королев: Не очищает оно
  • (2022-01-09) Ishtiaqe: Works as advertised. I wanted something that will automatically remove the tracking codes in the URLs.
  • (2022-01-02) Cosmia's Stash: exactly what I need, perfect for copying just the essential url without the garbage!
  • (2021-12-28) Google User: Effectively useless. It does nothing what the developer claims. There's a "copy clean link location" in the context menu which doesn't copy the link, nevermind a clean link. Try it out yourself and you'll see. I copy a link but it still s hows the hidden or shortened link 99.99% of the time. The extension should automatically copy the link in your clipboard and clean it, but no it doesn't. Even when you copy a link and it sends you to a webpage (you need to have the extension installed to access the webpage) it rarely cleans it. I have to use a URL "revealer" to see and go to the actual link. If anyone finds this extension works they are either lying, using it on very simple urls, or friends (missionaries) of the developer. Uninstalled. Uninstalled.
  • (2021-11-11) Jack Finley: I really like this extension. I wish you could set domains to ignore though.
  • (2021-09-28) Sheep Commander: Check the bug report I opened here https://github.com/ClearURLs/Addon/issues/148 this is a huge deal breaker that messed up my flow until I tried out "Neat URL" instead. Neat URL doesn't have any bugs I've encountered, but the built-in filter isn't as powerful and I also haven't figured out how to make the custom filter work.
