• (2023-10-20) Prashant: perfect, works properly, although you can make it better by adding functions like saving captions with posts in a text file, pretty doable and will be useful asf, also you can try adding number to the file name according to order they were posted it also can add so much value by just 1,2,3,4... numbers before file names so that anyone can know in what order these were posted. also you can name files like these - 1.1,1.2,1.3 and 2.1,2.2,2.3... if one post has multiple files, I will love it also if you do these I will love to donate to support your work

  Oftentimes, when trying to download use your extension to download a user's highlights with the "Download this Highlight" button, the zip file contains images that are cropped. In other words, the entire image is not saved but only a cropped version of it. This only applies to picture files and not video files. This does not happen on all sets of highlights or even all accounts. However, it does happen frequently enough to notice rather easily through testing. I hope that you can fix this.

  I'm using Brave browser, not sure if this is an issue on others. I only figured this out because I was typing in usernames and not clicking links to go to them. Going to "instagram.com/username" doesn't allow the extension to work. You have to specifically go to "instagram.com/username/". You'll get the "something went wrong" error and Download by sequence only shows 1 to 100 and errors out.

  Another problem is that if a video appears among a group of images or videos together, the video won't download. If the video is posted alone, then the extension can download it. For example, if someone posts 5 files in a single post where the first file is an image, the second file is a video, and the remaining 3 files are images, only the four images will be downloaded. The video will not be downloaded.

  I think what happens is that sometimes the particular instagram feed will not show all the images and, on Windows desktop at least, you get a spinning wheel after the last row of pictures, as if it was buffering to show the rest of the photos, but that never happens and so the extension sees that and does not allow the download of anything on that particular feed.
