YAHTZEE
Extension Actions
The classic game YAHTZEE. Play against a computer player and see who can get the highest score.
Play the classic dice game YAHTZEE, against a computer opponent named Bill. The objective of the game is to get the most points by getting the right combinations of dice. In each turn a player may throw the dice three times, and can hold the dice he wants to keep to the side. E.g. if a player throws 6,6,2,3,1 he can choose to keep 6 and 6, and just throw the 2,3,1 dice again, to try to get as many sixes as possible.
The available combinations are:
Ones: Get as many ones as you can
Twos: Get as many twos as you can
Threes: Get as many threes as you can
Fours: Get as many fours as you can
Fives: Get as many fives as you can
Sixes: Get as many sixes as you can
If you get a total of 63 or higher from the above combinations you will get a bonus of 35 extra points. To get 63 points you need on average to get three of each combination, e.g. three ones, three twos etc.
The other combinations are:
Three of a kind: Get three of the same kind
Four of a kind: Get four of the same kind
Full house: Get two of the same kind and three of another kind
Small straight: Get four in a row, e.g. 1,2,3,4 or 2,3,4,5 or 3,4,5,6
Large straight: Get 5 in a row, either 1,2,3,4,5 or 2,3,4,5,6
Chance: You can use anything for this, it's just a sum of your dice. Good when you don't have anything else.
YAHTZEE: Five of a kind. This will always give you 50 points, no matter what number you get five of.
Enjoy!

- Does not seem to be based on true probability which makes it kinda meaningless.

- I really enjoyed this game at first, but the dice don't roll randomly; there's a very distinct trend to the numbers that come up. Where's the random number generator? Pluses: silent dice, playing against a computer opponent (for the competitive among us- haha), the red number possibilities on the score card, clicking on the dice to keep and get rid of select ones as opposed to dragging (easier on the hands).

- This was working just fine, Yahtzee and all the other games linked on this site until it became infected with malware that redirects to a bogus Google search page. DO NOT INSTALL or go to this site until the developer can confirm it's been fixed. I've had to reset my browser settings 3x now.

- Are you kidding me? Whoever doesn't think it fast-moving, fun-packed game of Yahtzee isn't at LEAST deserving of a 5 Star rating is, in my accurate opinion [hee hee], Cuckoo!! Love IT!!

- I don't like that it is decided for you where to put particular rolls. I want to decide that. Example, on the first roll, I got a small straight, it immediately gave me 30 points, I wanted to try for the large straight, and wasn't given that chance, same with 3 6's, I wanted to try for more, wouldn't let me. This app is gone from my computer as soon as I write this.

- I agree w/Alan Harder& I will add more to the negativeness of this kool game. It is a fact the game/computer is systematically rigged. Any player can have an approx. 3 to 1 win ratio. At the end of 15% of the games, Computer Bill's wins comes from a back to back "4 of a kind", large-str8 or a "YAHTZEE", or 2 in combo in its ending game wins. The fact there is a fix & the way Computer Bills uses 'small & large straights' as its key 2 uses i the very beginning of the game leaving the top 1's thru 6's of the game board to fend for itself. The system needs overhauling big time. I am tired of its useless tactics. I have since stop playing this game. PEACE!

- My biggest issue with this game is that the strategy of the opponent is stupid. For example, when the computer hits a small straight, it takes the score instead of keeping the small straight and trying for a large straight. Also, when hitting four of a kind, when both three of a kind and four of a kind are open, it uses the score for three of a kind. Or when it has to choose a slot to take a zero, it will choose three of a kind instead of four of a kind. There are other strategy mistakes the computer opponent makes, too. The net effect is that, unless you are really unlucky with the dice rolls, you can win almost every time.

- Thank you to whomever created this game for free. Like Gordon said, it has no bonus for extra Yahtzees. The sound thing is not a big deal but the interface is pretty bland. Not very attractive.

- I't okay for a free version! No sound and no scoring for extra Yahtzees.
