Terrible experience! Icon must be pinned in order to work. Counts the words but can't close afterwards unless you refresh the page.

The icon must be pinned. This one requires you to divert your focus to the icon, left click it, and then click to close the pop up. Cumbersome.. There are others that do it easier.

Simple and effective
Its a lovely and simple extension, but every once in a while it will stop working. It freezes on my screen and doesn't register any words or characters. I have to refresh to get rid of it.
