This is a file encryption and decryption tool for Google Drvie and your local files. It allows you to encrypt your files so that no one can look at them.
You can select files to encrypt/decrypt from your local computer or from Google Drive. and you can directly save the converted files to Google Drive.
This app uses powerful encryption algorithms (AES with 128 bit key). This app does not save or share the file you select. It only works locally without going through the server. (HTML5 technology) It's very safe, and guarantees privacy.

- It securely encrypts drive files such as PDFs (apart for native files). The webpage that does the conversion does it locally on the browser. No network communication apart for with Google. Great! Creators - My only concern is what do I do if this services even goes offline. Do I lose all my data? Can you offer an offline decryption solution?

- NONVARIFIABLE/INVALID chain of custody. Using a website to encrypt is ALWAYS IN-SECURE (unless you are only pretending) and very STOOPID, I'm sorry, many things should not be on the web anyway ! NEVER trust a website to encrypt your data! Da... Gimmie your valuables, I'll lock them up, You can trust me. How Stoopid !! Wonder how your private data went virual, Ha, ha, ha...

- seems to work ok, But the interface need a major redesign you can get lost really easily BIG PROBLEM AND CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO REACH THE DEVELOPER>>>> I set a password and then test it by decrypting a file with a password that IS NOT the one I set and it decrypted in anyway.......... NOT GOOD

- Note that if you are wanting to encrypt a native Google Apps file (i.e. docs, sheets or slides) this app seems to convert your file to PDF and encrypts that. If you decrypt that file you are left with the PDF, not the original file format, thus you would not be able to edit it. This does not seem to be a problem with standard office file formats - tried .doc and .xls files. Those made the round trip fine, so you might want to convert your Google apps files before encrypting them. Several nits that kept me from giving it five stars: Would like to see an option to show the password in the clear while it is being typed. Would have liked to see it be a 256 bit AES key, but this will certainly keep prying eyes out. Would like to see an option to combine multiple files into a single encrypted archive.

- worked fine for me but when there is a large file or a lot of files then it tends to lag behind a bit. Otherwise, it's fine to use.

- It looks like it works, however as the GUI is clunky and some major file formats are not supported (.xlsx) I will look for the next apph

- It works, but the interface need a mayor redesign you can get lost really easily. I almost quit after just looking at it for a few seconds. Would gave it 5 stars if it wasn't but the awful interface.
