(2024-03-13) teo: I am extremely pleased with the app. However, I am dissatisfied with the limitation of only five sparks per day unless an additional $299 is paid on top of the existing premium pro fee. Allocating merely five sparks per day to premium users seems unjust. It ought to be twenty per day.

Now I have a much better chance of writing something that an editor wouldn't through in the circular file as soon as it was opened. I'm just an amateur, so I haven't upgrade, but the decision won't be difficult.

(2023-04-20) Felipe: Terrible, terrible product. This performs well below Grammarly, which is shocking considering their similar pricing. The extension has not been updated since December 20, 2021. The software regularly gives incorrect feedback for corrections, not allowing users to report incorrect suggestions. This is a poor alternative to Grammarly. I hope the developers will consider introducing more frequent updates to the software solution.

But, when I wanted to take my writing more seriously, all of the reviews showed that ProWritingAid had a deeper analysis, in more dimensions (including stylistic suggestions). Yes, to use the plugin you essentially need a paid account. But, there are routinely discount promo codes available. And there is a lifetime subscription option. It may not be for everyone, but if you want more than a simple spelling and grammar checker, this is great. -1 star because it gets confused when I add emoji into Facebook posts in Windows. The, easiest thing to do is make the emoji in a different window <Window>+. and then copy/paste it into the post.
