語学学習って、実はとてもシンプル。自分の「好きなコンテンツ」に学習中の言語で触れて、「なんとなくわかる」を少しずつ積み重ねていく。それを繰り返すだけで、言語力はしっかり育っていきます。
Migaku(とChromeブラウザ拡張機能)は、その“繰り返し”を支える学習ツールです:
■ Migaku – AI

- (2025-09-01) Daniel: Just incredible. If this existed 16 years ago, I would be a completely different level in terms of my language studies
- (2025-09-01) Lilly: Migaku is the best tool for language learning! Their courses are amazing but you get access to so many cool tools like dictionary, translation, grammar explanation, explanations using the context you're in, subtitle generation and more to come in the future too. They even support quite a few languages with more being added every year. The awesome thing about migaku is no matter what your learning style is (academic or immersion approach or even a mix of different styles like me) you can use it to compliment that however you like. If you're learning one of the listed languages I can't recommended it enough. I like it so much I had to purchase lifetime as I see it as an essential tool to my every day life for my studies!
- (2025-08-30) Shan Rauf: So good
- (2025-08-26) Jon Chan: Your #1 tool for learning languages - mining words from content is one of the most important prats of learning a language and Migaku has a very user friendly interface and makes it a pleasure to find new words in content i'm watching. Updates are rolled out frequently and support on their discord is responsive.
- (2025-08-26) Arvydas Sidorenko: Migaku is an incredible app! The platform is powerful, intuitive, and constantly improving thanks to the dedicated developers. Getting lifetime unlimited access feels like an unbelievable bargain considering the value it provides to me. Huge thanks to the team!

- (2025-08-25) Clowdy Howdy: The browser extension is one part of the bonus features you get with migaku, including mobile apps, beginner courses, tools to memorize words and look up things on streaming sites and websites. This is the only software that comes close to being able to get you from zero to high levels of fluency, because it has a high quality, hand crafted beginner course to learn basic vocab and grammar, but also directs you to being able to learn from native content for as long as you want. Features are still being actively developed and the dev team is responsive and active on discord. You can go there for technical support too, and everyone is helpful. You can tell the community is passionate about migaku.
- (2025-08-25) Luca: Migaku is still developing, but it remains the best app for language immersion available.
- (2025-08-25) Brian: Game changer for immersion learning

- (2025-08-25) Félix: Perfect tool for language learning
- (2025-08-25) Josh Newman: Migaku is honestly the best suite of tools for language learning that exist today. I've tried so many apps, scripts, plugins and addons for immersion based learning and none of them have come close to Migaku for ease of use. It makes learning so much fun, which makes me keep coming back for more. I'd pay for a lifetime subscription twice over if I could!
- (2025-08-25) Brandon Abreu: props to the developers this is super useful and has helped me improve my spanish by a ton 🙌
- (2025-08-25) Adrian Ricart: Have been using it for almost 3 months and my comprehension skills have improved significantly.
- (2025-08-25) Sergey Konovalenko: Best tool for sentence mining. Yes it costs money, but you can't beat it with free tools, no matter what you may hear. Includes solid starter courses for some languages as a bonus. There are some bugs and some major features are still in development, but things are constantly improving.
- (2025-08-25) Mohamed Hassan: Even though I bought the life time subscription three years ago, I put using migaku on and off because I didn't think yet that it had everything I needed for my immersion (compared to the free alternatives). Three years later and I'm in awe of the current state of the app, the ai integration, the handcrafted lessons. I now exclusively use Migaku for everything and I let go of everything else I used to learn Japanese. I'm also now learning Korean using Migaku exclusively and am having a blast with how the lessons go deep into detail and have videos to show me how to move my mouth to pronunce and other advanced tricks.
- (2025-08-25) Lumina Lucifuga: Best extension for learning languages!
- (2025-08-25) Luis Ocampo: I have been using it for many years and helped me adapt to my new life in Asia
- (2025-08-22) Kai: This app is EASILY THE BEST app ever created for language learners and has helped me find true progress with my language learning goals. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS.
- (2025-08-20) pietro pedrini: Best resource by far for serious language learners, been trying different methods for years and this is the best. Follow their advice, it might take a few days to get used to the way they teach you how to learn, but its worth it, but you're still going to need to study hundreds of hours, but migaku makes it easier and more effective and efficient. Try studying 50 hours with migaku and you'll understand.
- (2025-08-15) Tyler Purvines: Easily the best option I've found for learning through immersion materials. While the video player subtitle parsing can get a little wonky after services update their players, it does a good job of parsing text and allowing me to create flashcards w/ examples.
- (2025-08-06) Agustín Barquero: Quite useful, it makes learning languages more fun. I highly suggest it.
- (2025-08-06) WoodChuck: Absolutely amazing product, highly reccomended
- (2025-08-05) Lii: This extension may be good for people just starting to learn a language but if you are intermidiate or above there is no point. I paid for this extension specifically for the anki features which they advertised but they are so clunky and diffcult to find that it shouldnt even be called a feature. Why isnt there an anki section in the settings? Why is the homepage in the web app just advertsing the playstore app and then on the other side big chunk of writing about an update. Then in the middle a little bubble where you can paste the words you already know but if you have anki decks or any other type of flashcards thats not going to be useful. Then actually finding the option to import the deck , you need to go to the 'memory' tab in the web app (why is it called memory and not flashcards/decks? idk) whcih then takes you to the migaku study site. What is the point of a web app if one of the most useful features is not even in the web app???? Also the card creator to generate cards like i said doesnt have its own 'anki' or 'flashcards' section but is hidden in the dictionary section ? I mean honestly the web app is not a good streamlined user experience in my opinion. Lastly since i cba to write anymore the main reason why i paid for this app , creating anki decks from youtbe videos, didnt even work even though i tried multiple browser and followed all the steps, it just would not create the actual card in my anki. This might not be the fault of the extension but due to my general experience i am not going to spend anymore time to findout. Also the reason i paid for the full versin was because for some reason it would allow me to access the anki feature in the free trial?? Whats the point of putting my credit card in for a trial if i cant TRIAL one of the mian features. Anyway if you are planning to pay for this i would consider waiting and testing out the UI and general experience for a few days to see if you like it . If you are a begginer I can see how this would be helpful.
- (2025-06-08) Odis AQW: Really one of the easiest ways to make immersion more comprehensible instead of limiting yourself to comprehensible but boring materials. I have been using Migaku for years to extract learnings from shows I would already want to watch anyway.
- (2025-05-08) Ronald Blackburn: Extremely difficult to setup and use with local files. They do not work even using their converter
- (2025-05-06) Elizabeth Lee: It's pretty good! It helps you identify words you don't know. It can actually work with other youtube videos than what it recommends, but it's not always available. I would say just keep trying with the extension open to find a video you want to watch that works with the extension. I've watched game trailers with it. It's so nice that it captures the image and sentence you find the word in to make a flashcard.
- (2025-05-03) CtrlAnt: Great product but that's really to buggy for the price charged (500$ life-time)
- (2025-04-09) Ryuji: Really lovely extension for learning.
- (2025-04-04) Sophie A: Very buggy on my side
- (2025-03-22) Daniel Lizik: I had been used to just using rikai-kun for who knows how long, but it has a really annoying UX. I tried out migaku as my preferred method of studying is to look at japanese websites and somewhat laboriously go through each kanji and translate it and learn more. Migaku is well suited for my style of learning, essentially it increases the speed at which I can digest and learn new kanji.
- (2025-03-18) めいこめいこ: Amazing app that's worth every penny. For what it offers, the price is very generous. It is an invaluable tool for learning any of the languages it supports. It even has a new subtitle generation feature so you don't have to use the youtube auto generation subtitles which didn't work well with migaku since it would create random breaks in sentences. Now however, with the new Migaku update, that's not really the case anymore with the help of AI. Holy cow, thank you devs for this. Language learning has never been easier! Let's build those vocab banks together! Woooo!
- (2025-02-15) Mikhail Moroz: The best language learning app. Helps you track your progress and understand and learn difficult words. Recommended.
- (2025-02-13) Garrett: If you try the example videos they suggest, then Migaku works on Youtube. If you go to any language learning content not suggested by Migaku, it doesn't work. What's the issue here? How do I know if a video on youtube is compatible with Migaku?
- (2025-02-10) Lukas Martini: Way too buggy for the price. I randomly cant record audio from animelon, tried it on youtube which is the same. Randomly stops working completely. Would be happy to give a better rating, when issues are being resolved
- (2025-02-08) Maria Vitória: Honestly, it's the best extension for learning languages I've ever used. The design is pretty, intuitive, and they even bothered to make a whole YouTube channel explaining how to use every tool from the extension. I just find it very thoughtful. Unfortunately, I can't use the extension anymore, and I don't even know what happened. The web version doesn't open, and the app screen stays frozen loading. It's a shame because after searching for several extensions to help me with my English studies, I finally found a good and free one, but it doesn't work :(
- (2025-02-08) Francis Pritchard: Still needs to iron a few bugs, but other than that it's pretty darn perfect.
- (2025-02-06) David: I've done the traditional method of learning languages in a formal classroom setting, and I never felt like I learned much of anything. The pacing was slow and the material while interesting, wasn't very fun. Then I learned about learning through immersion, and how people from the world utilize things like music, tv shows, movies, and even youtube to learn languages. I already spend quite a bit of time on Youtube and Netflix, but my listening skills aren't very well developed, so sometimes I didn't know how to type out a word in my dictionary to search the definition. Then I learned about Migaku and how not only does it present the subtitles in ways where you can look up words in an interactive dictionary, but it'll help you make flashcard to do reinforcement learning with high quality flashcards that have audio and pictures along the definition to learn words easily. I can't thank the migaku team enough with the amazing tool they've built for language learners. I'm now at a comfortable level where I think I want to visit Japan again, but this time not have to rely on my google translator.
- (2025-01-22) Nick Miller: Substantially increased my workflow efficiency. After reporting several problems using the tools, the team has always quickly responded and helped resolve the issues.
- (2024-11-27) A. Rodrigo: Migaku is an amazing tool to speed up the process of creating cards and the new migaku memory is pretty good too~!
- (2024-11-22) Jason Bostwick: an amazing tool that is a must for language learning. still waiting for updates to missing features seen in legacy.
- (2024-11-19) Jimbo: Great, but the video feature in the legacy version is missing and that's vital to me... Hopefully the new version supports MKV video unlike the old one
- (2024-11-15) Ozan Arslan: My only disappointment is... the price. 9 dollars? This is such a high price especially if you live in a country with weak economy. Can't you guys at least implement regional pricing? Or take the price back down to 5? Other than that, it's a great extension.
- (2024-11-03) ethan: Migaku Extension is a game-changer for language learners, offering seamless dictionary lookups, flashcards, all right in your browser. Its not perfect but is constantly receiving updates from the the devs. Perfect for anyone serious about mastering a new language!
- (2024-10-18) Noodle: Great tool for language learners who are planning to take things seriously.
- (2024-09-19) Brandon Ortega: Screenshot doesn't appear, audio seems to be missing or something ('cause when I play it on a flashcard It doesn't do anything, no sound), also when I hit "create card" It starts to record the whole video/movie audio lmao. I've been using this extension and legacy one for 1 year and now It doesn't work now for some reason. Please support. [Edit] Thanks for everything (I mean it). I have to mention that the problem hasn't been solved, and it's frustrating. I've been using this extension for a really long time and enjoyed it, but now I've decided to record my own media audio from various sources (Netflix, videos I already had, HBO, etc.). So, the only advice I can give is to continue with what you were doing with the Migaku legacy extension because it was the right one. I appreciate all your work, but it's no longer functioning properly, so there's no reason to keep paying for this service. I said "thanks" because Migaku Legacy and this extension helped me improve my English, Portuguese, and Russian through learning by context and sentence mining.
- (2024-09-16) Đức Mạnh Nguyễn: Good extension
