- (2024-11-06) Parker Tyler: Update: Clock in the status bar doesn't update. Have to click on it to show the correct time. Original Review (Aug 1, 2021): I like it but It can be super hard to read with the white on green. Providing a few color options would be helpful, like a high contrast mode maybe?
- (2021-06-27) Jeffrey Cote: Compared to every other option, this is the best. Simple, accurate. I love that it displays without having to click.
- (2021-05-09) gartnl: Just shows local machine time corrected for timezone instead of real internet time. No added value over system time.
- (2020-12-23) Matthew Veeneechei: Simple, no frills, good for dark mode and keeping track of time in Elite Dangerous.
- (2020-12-02) Carlos Barrera: Simple and useful but the color schema is no easy to read.
- (2020-04-16) Jason Eusebi: Does exactly what it says - it's a clock!
- (2020-04-15) Curt Rowlett: Outstanding UTC widget for Chrome. As a licensed amateur radio operator, this extension is very handy to me. And, i love the color, please don't ever change that! Thank you to the developers.
- (2019-08-02) Arthur Hart: Wonderful app that just does what it needs to do. I agree with others that the icon displayed time needs to use high-contrast colors instead of white-on-light-green. Perhaps bright yellow on dark blue, or just white on black? Since I review HTML sites which use UTC for all time management, it is used frequently and I would prefer to save that extra mouse click. Thank you for a good product!
- (2019-04-23) Bogdan Calmac: Simple, does what it says, displays current time in UTC. Color scheme can be improved, as others have mentioned, but it's not a deal breaker.
- (2018-12-05) Chaitanya Krishna Reddy Bhimavarapu: just because of the color I'm rating 2
- (2018-10-25) Neil Jeffries: Thank you for this extension. It has already made my life easier.
- (2018-07-23) V L: Would love to get better text and font colors. White on green font is hardly visible.
- (2017-12-30) Héctor Hernández: Está excelente...
- (2017-09-22) nelson little: love it. especially wit keeping up air traffic times caculate in Zulu time only
- (2017-07-22) Bill Collinsworth: Nice, easy to use, just sets there telling the correct UTC time. Perfect! What else is there to say.
- (2016-12-28) Joseph Bobier: But would be so much more valuable if it had an alarm clock function...
- (2016-08-10) It's great EXCEPT the visibility (white on green) text in the icon is terrible and I can't read it. I always end up having to click it to see the time.
- (2016-07-10) Anshul Chauhan (अंशुल): Depends on host system for calculation of time and accuracy. Better if it would sync with Internet.
- (2015-11-18) Daniel: good
- (2015-07-21) Dean Denton: Small display but useful for when you're listening to SW radio.
- (2015-04-01) Christopher Bockus: It would be great if 3, 6, 8 & 9 did not all look very similar.
- (2015-01-09) Marco Savini: I like it and use it all the time (pun intended). What I don't like is the font face. It's hard to read and to see a difference between 8 and 9, for example. A font face with a better readability would greatly improve the use. And mind you, I work on a 3200x2000 pixel screen, so it should really be clear.
- (2014-04-13) Kevin Loughin: I really like the concept. Having the UTC clock in the corner is a great idea!
- (2013-03-29) Eduardo Unda-Sanzana: Nice concept but the problem is I'm checking UTC time with the US Naval Observatory (which I guess is as right as you can get it) and this extension reports a time which is shifted 1 hour with respect to that time. Perhaps this is dependent on my computer clock? If so, this is not good, as the result will depend on up to date knowledge of daylight savings in my country, etc. which is a policy that has been changing during the last years. The safest strategy would be that the extension would fetch the time from a time server, periodically updating it (e.g. after 1 hour, 1 day or whatever).
- (2013-03-11) Kevin Jenkins: The white on green icon is hard to see.
- (2012-10-18) OK. A good basic start. But.. it would be a GREAT improvement if you you showed local (system) time as e.g UTC +/- 10 hours and the UTC date. It is not simple matter of time when one lives on other side of the world. IMO, Dev should check out FoxClocks extension for Firefox to see how it should be done.
- (2012-08-09) William Pietschman: Radio Guys everywhere rejoice! Chrome now has a GMT clock! It would be "nice" if when you clicked on it, it also gave you the day of week, day, month, and year, as I am always "good" with the GMT time, but when I fill out a (ham radio) QSL log, I always seem to get the DATE wrong :-)
- (2011-11-05) George Derrick: Love it but please add the date. Stick with 24 hour clock or give option for AM/PM.
