This very simple Chrome extension for downloading videos and photos or stories from Facebook and Instagram with one click
and also allows you to access to the Instagram mobile website like you can do on your smartphone but on your computer!

- (2025-04-15) Karl Simanonok: So I get an intrusive browser tab popup about this Microsoft Edge browser extension I know nothing about: INSSAVE - Save Story, which is on a page that says absolutely nothing about what it's supposed to be used for, and even all the reviews are so vague there's no clue either except for a few calling it trash or garbage. So I Google it to find out and it says "It adds a button to Instagram posts and stories, making it easier to download content1. Additionally, it allows users to access the Instagram mobile website on their computer" but I've never seen any such buttons nor would I have any way to know what it actually enables or not for Instagram, which I hate to use anyway because every frigging video starts off with the audio off and you have to hunt around to find the stupid button to turn it on. So this is just about the most useless browser extension possible and I'm going to remove it as soon as I've posted the only meaningful review of it yet -- this one.
