I enjoy using this extension when I'm on systems that don't allow sync via Chrome profiles. The only reason I hold back a star is because I would appreciate being able to view/access the bookmarks in some sort of native format. The format written to the backup location isn't human readable or portable to another browser without the extension. Perhaps the file format was a design choice for processing speed, minimal size, etc. But is a bummer not to be able to see the data...even if it was with another tool.

Doesn't seems to sync, after setup, instead of sync my new bookmarks to other computer, this actually delete my newly created bookmarks.

Great tool (and replacement for defunct xmarks), has been working fine for me in Chrome for years. The bad reviews who say it duplicates bookmarks probably have some other sync tool (such as chrome sync) turned on at the same time. I make sure I turn off all other bookmark sync tools, and I have never had any problems with it duplicating bookmarks. Only request (and I sent this as a help request on the website) is to have some notification if the token stops working or is lost, so I can know that my bookmark backups are not happening and fix it.

It's a great extension, but since update to 0.9.0 version, it starts failing on chrome. The bookmarks aren't being synced, and every change I make is not saved and bookmarks are duplicated. Please fix this errors

Hi, Extension really work as intended , no complains about that BUT: I am little worried about that extension wasn't updated for years now. Will it stay compatible/secure with feature Chrome updates? Do you guys still use this or there is alternative?

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. It can be in chrome to chrome, but it cannot be synchronized between different browsers. I have tested it on different devices, and I have invited others to test it. Maybe it’s the bookmark language problem, because it can be synchronized in a pure English environment and bookmarks. This situation has been around for many years.

"Failed to sync bookmark data". This error has been going on for several years and it cannot be synchronized between chrome and firefox, only between the same browser. All Chinese users I have asked have the same error. Is this because of bookmarks, browsers or non-English environment of the system?

This is exactly what I wanted. Seamlessly syncing bookmark between Firefox, Chrome, Brave. So, Now I don't have to fear of loosing bookmarks. Been using for 3 months without any problem. Great work dev.

It's ok but tends to duplicate bookmarks. So you might end up with 10 bookmarks for the same site and then have to delete 9.

Love it, I used the extension and wished it work fine; later my windows crashed and can't repair or login so after fresh install windows 10 and I installed back the extension and I hold my breath to see my bookmarks restore and it did. Thank you

Wonderful extension! I switched to Brave, and the built-in sync system is not working yet. This extension works great, and integrates easily with my existing Dropbox account

syncmarx is one of my most important extensions, which I use every day. When I had problems, Greg was very helpful and we were able to figure out the problem and solve it. Sometimes there are hiccups and the bookmarks double or are scattered everywhere. Then I go back to another browser that hasn't synced yet and force push / force pull to get it right again. syncmarx solves a major problem of having a self-controlled, cross-browser and cross-platform synchronization solution for bookmarks. I can't wait for version 1.0. @Greg: Thank you for an engagement, I really appreciate your time and energy.
